Your right about that working for yourself has a better satisfaction from the finished product. Decorative concrete has always been hands down my favorite work to do in the trade

Super creamy mix they call it a chip mix here. Essentially like a pea gravel mix on the Mainland used for decorative concrete. Thanks for watching 🤙🏽

I remember that video lol damn heat gets to use every know and then. This was his job the job has to be all hand dug no machinery on site to protect the landscaping

Bro I had to laugh a little when the boots came off that was a first for me. I was seeing stars lack of water , the heat, and the mud was kickin. We gottem though and it looked good. Wasn't the first time and wont be the last lol. But your right some people just will never never ever know!

I stamped like 42 yards of textureskin with cut boarders and bands in molokai with 1 labor. About 12 years ago, I could only do 7 yards yards a day. Mud was at 9a.m. every day.. I was on the beach at 11.... they had sharp aggregate and almost no sand in their mud out there
I always wanted to work on Maui. I especially would love to figure out how to go over there and rebuild and help . Im sure the maui work was a great experience. Especially to have someone fly you there to work means you mustbe pretty good.
@@thatjuanshow4485 he was a Dr. I did his driveway on Alki Beach in Seattle.. then he flew me to Hawaii. I thought he was dangling a carrot 🥕 until I was in the plane.
About 20 years ago I was a laborer building the Alki beach market in Seattle
