When more than 99%of pullers lose their hand, they are in a position to lose the match. With Jerry, he is just getting started.
It really is impressive stuff I don't care what anyone says he's an impressive dude, his lack of humility definitely biggest reason many cant stand him but I'm a big fan myself and hope he remains an elite puller for several more years.
He doesn’t hook and he doesn’t pull he’s trying to press the opponents wrist to the pad almost nobody else is doing this. He’s using much less back and bicep strength and almost all triceps and shoulders. Take someone like Leonidas for example he would be much more likely to use side pressure and just try to bicep curl you into the pin Jerry’s trying to lean forward almost on top of you and press down with his weight. It’s not the cupping or pulling backwards stuff a lot of people try to do.

The most underrated person, so underrated that he was the only Gennadis opponent in the last couple of years where he wasn't the favorite lol. He had been the 3rd guy in the world until Devon beat Ermes.
These technique breakdowns are really cool for someone like me who likes arm wrestling but doesn’t know anything about the technique. It really gives me a better appreciation for the skill of the sport

@@ronniemillsap no he literally pushes people off. He's the only guy that for some reason people elbow foul. Wagner, nobody fouls pulling him. Kamil, people don't foul. Jerry somehow everyone fouls. Watch him I. Practise pulls the guy always fouls even in practise aha

Ermes did something similar, but levan did some serious work on his flopper press, which shows his last match with devon.

But its easy to counter Jerry.
Instead of fighting on the top roll you just have to hook him a little.
The flop press only works when the palm is facing the side pads. If you force his wrist to twist and face Genady the flop press wont work and since Genady have strong wrist he can just cancel Jerris flop.

Styles make matches dude, and devon didn't lose badly to genadi, he dominated genadi's hand and wrist so genadi had no other option than flop press, which is literally devon's weakness because of his long arm

Pushing your opponent's elbow at the back of the pad, using bone lock, kingkongs move or whatever is a strategy to win.

@@lowtunedg9211He would not break his arm, Don't be silly, he was doing the same thing decades ago against Cleave Dean and he's still in one piece. Now that I think about, Jerry is one of the toughest armwrestlers, never got injuried during a match and the only injury he had training that I know of was during a heavy bench press.
Different positions, ermes first stopped Levan with his ridiculous back pressure, lost his hand and tried flop press, he didn't go flop press from the beginning like Jerry, most likely Jerry will get flash pinned ,but yeah if Jerry can somehow get into his lane then it will be interesting
