I’m so validated in listening to this video. I experienced all this at my last job and I left them high and dry with no notice one week before school was out bc I knew they’d have to scramble to cover my route

Glad Veronica decided to leave and she's right it's not her responsibility to the top boss' informant.

If you think corporate jobs are bad now, just wait until there is no more Labor Relations Board and unions are prohibited from striking or collective bargaining. It's coming.

So where does she work that she needs " financial compensation" aka money because she doesn't feel safe? That doesn't sound like a place you should work anyway.

That is normal actually. There are many unsafe jobs, such as on a ship or plane, even mining or in a nuclear reactor, people would still work here but the fact that their life is in danger leads to a higher compensation than other types of jobs.

Often informally called 'danger pay' and it reflects the risks of the job.
Train driver is an example, train drivers get a higher rate of pay to compensate for the risk of... collisions. The sort of collisions where you might have a breakdown afterwards and not be able to work anymore.
