Woah, thank you for featuring my video I made last summer, which I’ll have you know I made around 2AM! That video I made was just a little something I did for fun, and I used various stock photos/footage to set the setting and vibe of the video. The main creature in it is a rogue, beastly and mutant version of Eevee, which I decided to use since Eevee is a cute and innocent Pokemon, except for that one! If it evolved into one of its many evolutions, who knows how more terrifying it would be. Thanks again! ✌🏽
It wasn't in there for long, but congratulations! That's very cool. Especially considering this UA-cam isn't 100% Pokémon; They cover multiple franchises, showing that you are quite recognizable to this community.

As someone who's been playing GO since 2016 and spent way too many hours on Ultra Moon, I can shed some light on a few of the questions that couldn't be answered here - Necrozma, Cosmog, Cosmoem, Solgaleo, and Lunala are Ultra Beasts too. The rest are "just" Ultra Beasts, but the 5 aforementioned ones are _Legendary_ Ultra Beasts - that is, they're Ultra Beasts _and_ Legendaries at the same time. - While the UB section of the video was focused on only the UBs (naturally), it's worth mentioning the person we see with Cosmog in its video. Their name is Rhi, canonically part of the GO Branch of the Ultra Recon Squad from SM/USUM (Much like Team Rocket has a GO Branch). In the months leading up to GOFest 2023 (officially it's pronounced as one word), we saw Professor Willow disappear from the game entirely (like, he canonically Went Missing) and at the event he returned, in major part due to Rhi's encyclopedia-level knowledge of the UBs (they seem to be more knowledgeable than any other URS member) and how to take them down. We later learned that Willow was sucked into an Ultra Wormhole, so he was probably fine. - Niantic seems to be confirming some kind of connection between UBs and "Space-Time Distortions" form PLA. This year at GO Tour: Sinnoh (which occurred about two weeks after this video released), we had something similar happen where Willow disappeared again, and Rhi helps us find him - but the UBs were nowhere to be found, and there were no Wormholes. Origin Dialga and Origin Palkia, however, did show up. Right around the time Willow disappeared and Rhi visited again. There's not a lot to go on here, but it definitely looks like Distortions are related to Wormholes in some way, which would make sense as real-life wormholes are literally tears in the fabric of space itself. Right now, we're seeing Tapus, UBs, and Regis showing up in Raids, so it looks like the story isn't over yet. I'm very interested to see where Niantic goes with this. Fun little thing I thought of to explain why Solgaleo and Lunala were protecting earth. We understand why they would join the trainer in Pokémon Sun and Moon, as cosmoem (nebbie) had been taken alongside Lillie through the whole adventure, but why would these Pokémon, having no emotional connection to the people of earth, want to protect this strange, new environment? This is explained through the clip of Cosmoem and its trainer, who obviously is a member of the Ultra Recon Squad. The Ultra Recon Squad is dedicated to understanding Ultra Beasts, and protecting the places where Ultra Beast attacks and sightings happen. We can assume many a Cosmoem were from the same dimension as the URS, meaning that Cosmoem understands the NECESSITY of protecting people from Ultra Beast attacks. Cosmoem, as we know, evolves into Lunala and Solgaleo. That is why we see them protecting as opposed to acting out in an unknown environment: they started off understanding the importance of protection against UBs, instead of growing up in an uncontrolled, wild environment.
6:47 - 7:04 from these clips. It seems that lunalia and Salgalio are pretty passive towards humans and especially in the Salgalio one. It looks like he is trying to fight the ultra beast. Edit:I was kind of correct I guess
I got an ad for pokémon go while watching this. The ultra beasts were also involved. Pretty sure the date at the end said 3-21-24 I might be wrong though.
I’m sorry I can’t be scared or unnerved by these ads. Not because they are ads no. But because it’s Pokémon. I see buzzwhole flexing on em and just smile and say hi. Xuritree reaching out? He just like grabs their face and the two stand like that for a while. Just. I can’t I love the ultra beasts too much to be any sort of scared of them. I love them too much
I always love this genre of horror. Taking what would be considered normal everyday things in games and putting you up close and personal with what it'd actually be like in those situations.
I'm odd, I've never been creeped out by the Ultra Beasts (with one exception). Ever since they were revealed and I finished the main plot of Sun and Moon, I've always had more of the want to catch and protect them because they are probably extremely confused and distressed to be in our world (The Pokémon our world, not literally ours). But I will admit if they fell into our world (This time, I mean THIS WORLD), I would probably be more scared of them because I would no longer have the means to stop, catch, and befriend them, and would probably die. But the Ultra Beasts, for the most part, seem to be only Monstrous to us because they are alien; in their worlds, they seem to be regular Pokémon (With an exception)... and I do think they are Pokémon because Pokéballs can catch them... Like not just Beastballs but normal Pokéballs (I would know I just got a shiny Xirkitree in a great ball today); it's just very difficult because they are Alien, but since they go into Pokéballs that means they have the same shrinking ability and instinct that was stated to be a trait of Pokémon in legends Arceus which I think is what makes Ultra Beasts Pokémon. I think a lot of Ultra Beasts and Paradox Pokémon just get aggressive because they are confused and scared because they fell through a hole in space-time and are now in a place they don’t understand. I think that’s what truly scares me about Pokemon’s Space-Time lore… fallers like Anabel or Ingo… or the Ultra Beasts that appear in Alola in regular Sun and Moon’s Post game. A person or Pokémon, without warning, has the life they had known ripped away from them as they randomly fall through the breach in reality only to end up in a place they have never been, mind fractured and memories fuzzy. How many People, Pokémon and Ultra Beats has it occurred to? Given these rifts can pull from regions or universes away, it's not impossible in the lore of Pokémon for an Ultra beast to appear before you without warning at anytime, anywhere. It’s just more likely In Alola, where, for some reason, space is unstable. Or worse, for you or another person to suddenly be sent through a rift without warning, lost to the vast sea of timelines with no sign as to where they may have gone and a possibility they don’t even remember where they came from anymore. Pokémon and Ultra Beasts can't talk so we don’t know how they handle it mentally but for all we know they can’t recall either when they are caught in a time space rift or after they have come to Alola through an Ultra Wormhole. IDK that’s what scares to me. Oh, BTW The exception is Guzzlord… Guzzlord is highly implied to be some kind of Mutated monstrosity from an Alternate version of the Pokémon timeline (more akin to a Paradox Pokemon) probably a mutated Zygard core but that’s unconfirmed, either way its not natural to its world or ours and is the only one who creeps me out because its Snorlax x800 without discretion…. Remember friends, a random Ultra Wormhole is always on the table and Guzzlord is potentially on the other side. POKEMON LORE YAY!
Pokemon's horrors have actually killed in real life through the Porygon seizure and Burger King PokeBall toys. It's because a Pokemon analog horror would be disrespectful in those regards is what I've heard. Lavender town theme can also hypothetically damage your hearing but not hypnotize you.
Somewhere around 9:20: 'Huh, it'd be super cool and a little weird if this was a Pokemon Go teaser. The animation is up there, and GO happens canonically in our world, but it's a bit dark and ominous." 9:36: "GODDAMMI---"
They really cooked with these animations. Really started my ultra beast arc and the hunt for necrozma which ended once I managed to get it in go fest 2024 :) 4 years, and it has been done. Now its left with achieving its ultra form
5:49 I mean- for me, Xurkitree looks like it’s reaching for the camera. So it could probably be wanting to absorb the electricity inside of the camera, rather than attacking the person. Buzzwhole- just is living its life lol. It seems to just be a whole act of intimidation rather than an attack. I could always be wrong- but it doesn’t touch the person, only getting close to them. But then you read the Pokédex entry- so either it was just bully-like intimidation, or a giant mosquito
I love how sogaleo and lunala are depicted like sun and moon they are protectors of night and day. I also enjoy how we see these 2 personalities in a way that sogaleo is very focused and to the point and that lunala is curious. Anyways, thanks for listening to my nerdy rant
Ultra Beasts *would* be analog horror monsters if they were real wouldn't they? I never thought about the concept until now but it makes sense, Ultra Beasts aren't even considered Pokémon in the context of anything other than the Pokédex.
That would 100% use stuff from Captain N. Also, some of Subspace Emissary's original creatures are pretty creepy, I could totally see them showing up in an analog horror-type video.
Technically not an anolog horror, but check out "Aether Tapes" by Mr. Buddy. It's connected to his Team Buddy series and it definitely has big horror vibes.
13:59 what is that creature? is that a pokemon of some sort or something and what is it doing to the boy anyway??? Red probably got that screen when he lost to team rainbow rocket Giovanni in the ultra games.
That thing is called burried alive, and (as the creepy pasta says) is a scrapped boss for lavander tower that when losing was going to make that sprite with that music appear including a box of dialogue stating: "finally, raw flesh!" This is part of the lavander syndrome creepypasta, hope it helps
I only saw one of these and thought it was a fan thing... I'm actually glad Gamefreak deck see to show how dangerous they are, because most npc kinda gloss over the immediate danger everyone is in
It's crazy that in the Pokemon universe there are godly and otherworldly beings that transcend time, space, and even our very dimension itself that can wipe out the universe in seconds, including literally God himself, and 10 year olds enslave them with cheap toys for fun.
The gods trust them, they're children with no goals other than to have fun, which makes them innocent and trustworthy, and proves that their powers will not be exploited (even though they normally are lmao)
Buzzwole is actually really kinda guy to stop his reps and spot you, and xurkitree really just doesn’t know humans aren’t immune to electricity. Minor mistake on my client xurkitree’s part.
Gen 7 are more or less e rated horror games. Also there was another official analog horror thing done to announce hisuian zorua and zorark in legends arceus.
and then pokemon masters ex comes and makes them all look like friendly tourists that got stuck here (they are friendly if you know how to handle them....)
I mean, they go frantic when introduced into our dimension for different reasons. Pheramosa seems disgusted by our world’s particulate in some way, and Celesteela probably doesn’t like the fires it sets. The main reason they even attack beings once they’re in our world is if they “smell” the energy of Ultra Space, which makes them think there might be a portal home, and when they find some dude in the place of a portal, they go ballistic. The Arther Foundation and Interpol’s efforts are likely why the remaining ultra beasts have adapted to our world, plus the healing of Necrozma to ensure a safe trip home. Heck, even Guzzlord is just from an alternate Alola besieged by nuclear radiation, eating all of the saturated rubble to clean the place. Maybe it got pissed that it got interrupted?
@@jacksonvoet8312ok don’t make guzzlord seem innocent now, even in the anime it shows guzzlord is the most vicious out of them all, in the anime ash was sent to a future where guzzlord LITERALLY ate everything in alola WITH no body living there anymore.. only a man and a zeraora that want to put a stop to this madness
@@Joh-o1r There are, in canon, most likely more than one. That Shiny One is crazy. Just because some of them are vicious, doesn’t mean the one from the games is.
@@Joh-o1r Based on all things, I think Guzzlord doesn’t even get hungry, he just has extreme energy requirements. I mean, look at Ash’s Snorlax, once it was captured, it ate far less due to energy conservation.
I dont think that some of the ultra beasts are evil as much as they are curious.Like Naganadel and Poipole seemed to be like "ooo whats this, weird it might be a threat so imma attack it" Buzzswoles like "Hey look at my muscles, hey why is this thing videoing me? Maybe it wants a closer look" Nihilego is just like "*gasp* new fren? Oh there goes my family, bye bye new fren" Xurkitree might just be curious or sense phones are run on electricity might sense the phones dying and wants to help recharge it.
Underrated comment
I am surprise that pokemon has less analog horror wile mario, sonic have more. but i do know how dark and fu*ked up the pokemon world is .
@@MemeRaiderthe weird thing is that the ”porygon seizure” was actually caused by Pikachu
@@eur0be4t3r the poor origami duck didn’t know what’s coming..
I remember those from pokemon go! Teasing nekrozma…who still hasn’t released
Somewhere around 9:20: 'Huh, it'd be super cool and a little weird if this was a Pokemon Go teaser. The animation is up there, and GO happens canonically in our world, but it's a bit dark and ominous."
9:36: "GODDAMMI---"
This is honestly one of my favourite game marketing campaigns ever
I remember seeing an infection Pokemon AU / analogue horror about Pokerus, and it infecting humans on insta
Pokemon go really cooked with the horror aspect of the ultra beast reveal, honestly I wish they would just make a whole horror game at this point
They really cooked with these animations.
Really started my ultra beast arc and the hunt for necrozma which ended once I managed to get it in go fest 2024 :)
4 years, and it has been done. Now its left with achieving its ultra form
All this because it was a fun to see ultra beast being introduced to Pokemon go
Holy crap! These are awesome! It’s awesome that pokemon go / gamefreak made a lot of these.
Wait I'm not the only one who's still making Pokemon horror?
LET'S GOOOOOO I'M NOT LONELYYYYYYY
I was not expecting pokemon go to have analog stuff
best promotional vids pokemon did
5:49
I mean- for me, Xurkitree looks like it’s reaching for the camera.
Bro cooking with that ds2 soundtrack
I love how sogaleo and lunala are depicted like sun and moon they are protectors of night and day.
I also enjoy how we see these 2 personalities in a way that sogaleo is very focused and to the point and that lunala is curious. Anyways, thanks for listening to my nerdy rant
so i do wonder what was it like for the main protagonist of ultra sun and moon felt when coming across these ultra beast
Now the mystery is complete the 2024 eclipse is the catalist for Necrozma to cross to our world
uh that "building" that the paper ultra beast (dont remember its name) cut in half was just a solid block of concrete. no one died in that
Ultra Beasts *would* be analog horror monsters if they were real wouldn't they?
I never thought about the concept until now but it makes sense, Ultra Beasts aren't even considered Pokémon in the context of anything other than the Pokédex.
Xurkitree’s just a silly creature in my eyes. It’s just a little curious about the electronic box in the person’s hand.
If someone made a Pokemon analog horror then they have to make a Kid Icarus analog horror! Heck, even a smash bros analog horror
That would 100% use stuff from Captain N.
Also, some of Subspace Emissary's original creatures are pretty creepy, I could totally see them showing up in an analog horror-type video.
Now I wanna make that DARN IT I NEED TO FINISH THE POKEMON ONE FIRST
KRICK MAKING IT BIG
Imagine owning a Guzzlord, the amount of food you need for it will be insane
fun fact: pokemon go has the highest dex entry out of all the pokemon games with over 800
Yeah, the UB trailer for Pokemon Go was more akin to a horror ARG than anything official
7:29 where this photo came from?
Not me getting a pokemon go add after this lmao
Hear me out: If Metroid (theoretically) had a found footage style series, would it be analog or digital horror?
I'm just gonna assume you mean the nintendo series
@@CWillis-nf8kp Yes I do
Wait i tought this is the official pokemon go ultra beast ad?
Technically not an anolog horror, but check out "Aether Tapes" by Mr. Buddy. It's connected to his Team Buddy series and it definitely has big horror vibes.
13:59 what is that creature? is that a pokemon of some sort or something and what is it doing to the boy anyway??? Red probably got that screen when he lost to team rainbow rocket Giovanni in the ultra games.
Trust me kid you don't wanna know oh the horror...
That thing is called burried alive, and (as the creepy pasta says) is a scrapped boss for lavander tower that when losing was going to make that sprite with that music appear including a box of dialogue stating: "finally, raw flesh!"
This is part of the lavander syndrome creepypasta, hope it helps
Just so you know in the Pokémon anime it says something about how celasteela can destroy the earth or smt
Or cause a lot of damage
Dude that was just a concrete block kartana cut. It’s obvious once you can see the inside.
Early congrats on 60k
that wasnt a building but a column
I only saw one of these and thought it was a fan thing... I'm actually glad Gamefreak deck see to show how dangerous they are, because most npc kinda gloss over the immediate danger everyone is in
Necrosis is perhaps the most dangerous of them
7:10 My guy that's a rock - concreate
The katana video that was a concrete column so no people just alot of steel and concrete
I miss the pokemon creepypasta days
:(
Of course pokemon has an official anolog horror
I wish you would cover the de blob 2 on wii analogue horror it made me piss myself it was so scary
1:44 bars
9:40 that aged well
Bro took promotional videos for a mobile game and yapped like an English teacher over the horrific context behind it all
I wish there was more Pokémon horror
That was a concrete pillar, not a building 7:10
I really want nintendo to do more things like this.
cut to that clip of spongebob and patrick on the rollercoaster.
3:02 kaboom
Ultra Beer
It's crazy that in the Pokemon universe there are godly and otherworldly beings that transcend time, space, and even our very dimension itself that can wipe out the universe in seconds, including literally God himself, and 10 year olds enslave them with cheap toys for fun.
The gods trust them, they're children with no goals other than to have fun, which makes them innocent and trustworthy, and proves that their powers will not be exploited (even though they normally are lmao)
we need more pokemon horror!
I know, I can't be the only one who still makes this stuff
The reason why you don't want pokemon irl
@@jacksonvoet8312sure maybe some ultra beasts could be tamed but not guzzlord, he will literally fuck up everything in sight cause of his hunger
Dang, nihelego and xurkitree are the creepiest ones
I dont think that some of the ultra beasts are evil as much as they are curious.Like Naganadel and Poipole seemed to be like "ooo whats this, weird it might be a threat so imma attack it" Buzzswoles like "Hey look at my muscles, hey why is this thing videoing me? Maybe it wants a closer look"
Nihilego is just like "*gasp* new fren? Oh there goes my family, bye bye new fren"
Xurkitree might just be curious or sense phones are run on electricity might sense the phones dying and wants to help recharge it.
Remember, these things are just as weirded out by us as we are of them,to them we might be alien.
celesteela is just chillin dude
Stackatacka,Blasephalon,Necrozma and Pheromosa might be evil tho
And as the for guzzlord,he's just hungry man I dunno what to say
Nihelego is DEFINITELY not a friend.
