The Comedians' 40th Anniversary Show was recorded LIVE at the Blackpool Grand Theatre in summer 2011 as a tribute to the original comedy heavyweights who paved the way for stand-up comedy as we know it today, in 1970s ITV hit The Comedians.
Featuring hilarious live routines and interviews with Roy Walker, Stan Boardman, Mick Miller, Duggie Brown and all hosted by the legendary Johnnie Hamp.
Also included are fascinating never seen before interviews with the late Frank Carson, Jim Bowen and the legendary Bernard Manning in one of his last ever interviews, along with hysterical clips of Charlie Williams, Ken Goodwin, George Roper, and many more from the original TV show. - Комедії

Brilliant comedian. Those stories of him when he was young resonate with those of us of a similar age. One he didn't mention. Two doors opposite each other, tie string between them, then knock. Both occupiers trying to open the door at the same time. Such fun 😜😜😜😜😜

Stan was born 7/12 /37. He is in his 80s. He looks younger than many people in their late 60s and 70s. Laughter and good genes must keep you young. I remember him as a kid in the 70s and 80s. Brilliant memories of him. I miss all the comedians from back then. Long may he live if the Gerrrrmans don't get him. Legend for sure.

Thast gag about the teacher calling the register was true in my case,i and about 40 boys had a 2 hour woodworek lesson each wednesday,the teracher would call the register check all the boys were present then he would come around checking each workbench had the right amount of tools that done he would say O K boys start work 10 minutes later he would say tools away boys and then come around checking all tool sets were complete by this time the 2 hours were up it took me 4 years to make a simple tea pot stand.
You must have been crap at woodwork. I made a toast rack and it only took me 2 years.😂

I remember that on the telly, messerschmitts and my dad fell off his chair.
Stan Boardman was sheltering in an Air Raid shelter in WW2 with His younger Brother and Baby Sitter and it took a direct hit.
His Brother and the Baby Sitter where killed.
I remember this geezer well back in the day fourty years ago. Back then, I did not find him funny. Now this bloke is fxxxxxx, hilarious, side splitting.
