*ONCE AGAIN, SOME CHANNEL ANNOUNCEMENTS:* 1) Yehey, finally, the Saint Valentine's Day tribute is officially closed, and so, before we go, I would like to say a very big "thank you!" for staying with me, patiently waiting for new, wonderful uploads. Like I said, loving all of you, my dear ladies and gentlemen, doesn't stop on February 14 -- it's all-year round. Now, I'm gonna take a break as I prepare myself for the next tributes to come next month, so stay tuned again for me, please, OK? :) 2) You might ask me, "Why end the tribute with this piece?" I'm just actually surprised no one has done a score vid of this particular arrangement of this piece before -- asides from HenriVieuxtemps' video on the original instrumentation, although only showing the violin part (you can see it here: ua-cam.com/video/Q0ajM7aL-Vc/v-deo.html)... 3) ...And trust me, this video is not a channel popularity trap for a lot of anime fans here to swarm the comments page with -- gah, who am I joking. To be honest, I actually haven't even got the slightest interest to listen to this piece before until then, which I may regret. But my point is, no matter where you or I or he or she heard it from, let's leave it to each his or her own, because, in the end, we're all here to appreciate the music just the same, so what's the point of fighting? There, that's my personal opinion on such, so if you're going to present me an argument around this, I'll make sure that I will hear you out, understand you, and respect your opinion, but not always provide you a rebuttal. Some things for sure -- I'm not gonna regret putting this video up. I'm not gonna disable the comments for this -- or any vid, either. I may not be good at defending my own judgement or making sense out of some of the things that I say, but I'll never be rude enough to silence all of you and not hear you out with whatever you want to say to me. You're welcome. *mwah* 4) Out of all the uploads I did for the Saint Valentine's Day tribute, which one did you like the best? And why? 5) Any random comments, suggestions, opinions, questions, or video requests? Feel more than free to leave a comment or give me a PM. :D
thenameisgsarci it's great that your channel is growing so well ^^ maybe you can push aside the anime song requests, not to hurt anyone though, I just feel like you specialize in classical pieces and it's great, keep up the good work! maybe my request would be uploading and pieces from Rimsky-Korsakov, Prokofiev, Bartok, Sibelius, and Rautavaara~ that'll be really great~~
This is perhaps my favourite piece for violin and orchestra (along with the Sibelius concerto and the Bruch in g minor). What beauty! What understanding of the instrument!

thenameisgsarci and also maybe some viola concertos and/or double bass pieces by Botessini ^^
Why end the tribute was not explained clear enough... Can't you just let the leave the tribute open?
Wow, the accompanist and the violinist is in sync. It is what Saint Saens intended. Good job to the musicians
Sucks to the so-called music critics who label Saint-Saens a second or third rate composer.
Violin and orchestra. This transcription is not by Saint-Saens.
It's not an accompanist it's a pianist

What about Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto? It’s one of my favorites. The other ones you listed are also some of my favorites.
@@kensmith1913 I like it but prefer the others I've mentioned. I should have listed the Saint-Saens concerto in D major.

Ah, that’s a good one!

Dang the violinist played that super fast. I’ve never heard it played that fast! This violinist is amazing!

Wow, and on top of that, it was a live performance?!?! I like it even more. Great piece. Thanks for uploading it.
I'm happy you liked it. :)
i love listening to different artists playing the same song thanks for posting
Es simplemente hermoso
WOW able to hear this on Christmas Eve is one of the best moment in my life
*breathes intensely*
Anastacia C
It is a live performance though. I guess he’s trying to interact with the piano? Idk
She is standing closely to the microphone.
@@kensmith1913 its so the pianist and the violin can stay in sync
Wow. this is so good.
I can’t hear the notes
just imagine the sound :(
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh nope
XD
Hehe your lie in April reference knew there would be one
Todorokis Scar that makes no sense. Only Kousei can’t.
Wonderful

THANKSSSSS!!!

Can't find proper sheets, even on IMSLP, can somebody send me the sheet music plz ? :')
Lots of breathing for a string instrument. Really great performance otherwise, thanks for the upload.
I'm actually worried about which performance to use for this video, to be honest, so I really have to judge. But I'm glad it worked out fine here. :)
The breathing is also helpful for us for rests and if it were with an orchestra it would help loads as well
lol yeah. In this instance it almost becomes an accompanying percussion instrument. Like a brush on snare.
I actually like the breathing, but im a scrub oboe player soo.. xD
thenameisgsarci you shouldve used gitlis's recording
This is just great!
Isn't it? I'm drooling and thinking of trying my hand at it (I'm a violinist)...
Nice
im here because yuzuru hanyu makes me
feels more dramatic and less articulate. Probably the instruments used to record it. But like, thank you for blessing this world.
0:12
Is it weird that I kind of like the breathing
imo it is, atleast i dont like it xD
MeIIow yeah, why do they even need to breath like that? It’s not a flute or anything...
Well, it helps to feel the pause. And can also stress the start for both instruments.
It has to do with the place of the microphone.
Breathing? More like someone sweeping the floor with a large brush! 😅🙉
true lol
Has anyone the fingering for the string crossing bow bouncing arpeggios? (similar to paganini caprice 1)
@Jonathan Wu I can't lol
@Jonathan Wu I can't lol
