Because the BCC didn't know what they were doing with Top Gear. The departure of the original trio had them floundering so they were just making bad decision after bad decision in the midst of their inability to make up their mind about what the programme should be.

same! I saw a girl on tiktok drove this Roma and I was like wait...is it becos she is beautiful or becos I really am looking for a sportscar but not for racing. I was into Granturismo then realised it no longer available for 2022 models in my ctry. Then this girl in tiktok appeared with Roma. After watching this video, I am convinced that I would like this car
Rory absolutely shines bright in the reviews he makes over here. I am super happy he is not on Top Gear anymore. Also, this review looks so classy. Good job at filming and editing it.
About the car, it looks nice. Its unlike any other Ferrari in the current line up. Also that colour just reminds me of Alfa Disco Volante. This car looks like a direct competition to Bentley Continental. Both cars have a very different approach. The Conti Arrives to the going fast business from the Luxury side. Thats why we find more of Luxury and comfort on that car. Speed is a Byproduct. This car arrives to the luxury point from speed. Thats why you find the speed with Luxury being the byproduct. The one whos out to buy a car just needs to choose if he wants to bath in Luxury or Sweat it out with speed.
Jayanand Supali - to me it is so much more elegant, modern and well proportioned than the Bentley GT. I think it draws more resemblance to an Aston Martin. Regardless it's a BEAUT.

One of the best new Ferrari’s in a while - I’d love to see a GTO version of the Roma
The two best GT's are the Ferrari Roma and the new Porsche 911/912 turbo S... They will be the last best GT's as well and both will only go up in price over time.

@@samueln.2079 The McLaren GT, It looks good on the out side, that about it. Its not a soft ride and performance not the best. But this is only from what I have read and seen on youtube.
With every thing going hybrid Ferrari Roma and the new Porsche 911/912 turbo S will be the last best GT's.

One last question. Do you know if the roma got a cylinder deactivation, just like the Bentley conti gt? Would be great, otherwise the roma needs too much gas in cities.

"a game of what ever this is" and the horse had me actually laughing. Rory is an excellent presenter.
This review made me remember of the good days of top gear. Dramatic intros, strange but lovely adjectives to describe the car and a huge knowledge of car related information to fill you with culture. Before this video I knew very little about this car since nobody had reviewed it yet and looking at a future high end car id always look toward a 911 Carrera or maybe a hurracan evo even if it means bringing up the flamboyant and loud Lamborghini heritage; but now I don't anymore, now when I look at the Roma I see the best car on the market today leveled only by the continental GT, a quiet and subtle car that makes eyes turn for not his sound but by his magnificent looks, a masterpiece written in stone by Ferrari thanks to a jaw dropping design and a comfy but fast drive, I probably won't be able to afford one in the future and if I will I will be more mature than what I am now, I will probably spend those money elsewhere but now, in the age where you want everything but can afford nothing I look at the Roma not as a quiet and therefore boring Ferrari, but as a marvelous creation desired by many. If this is the future of cars, damn I'm ready

@@Shelby-pp9jj In red its not that appealing. I was at the Ferrari museum two months ago and they had exhibited the prototype in grey. It was beautiful and stunning. In grey it has a lot of similarities to an Aston Martin, but I wouldnt say that this is a bad thing.

Glad to see Rory behind the wheel doing these reviews. IMO he was given an impossible brief at Top Gear but I think these reviews show off his natural screen presence and humour very well. I wish him all the best for the future
For first time in decades Ferrari got me hooked. Bits of Aston and Jag in the Roma's design but heck, I love it. Every damn seconds of Rory's review sounded like damn fun for what's aimed to be a daily car ! And having to play with gears to rev the beast up is just like good old NA days but modern power. If that thing is reliable and doesn't overheat, it's a winner move.

This is a transformational Ferrari. The company had the guts to dive into a whole new category and they crushed it. By far the most beautiful GT out there.

This car reminds me of a modern 365 GTB/4, and I love it for that. Staggeringly beautiful to look at, comfortable, luxurious, and still plenty quick and fun. The original Daytona was my favorite Ferrari of all time, though this, this just may tie it.

What I truly appreciate what Ferrari has done with the Roma model is the matte screen. You're have a better ability to see what it is on the screen without damaging your eye sight or make you stare for a longer period of time at the screen instead of focusing on where you're driving. Very smart idea.
