Hey just wanted to say that these mhw vids have been pretty cool! A couple tips: always remember to eat at the canteen before quests and that you get invinciblity frames if you get knocked down and stay on the ground until you stand up (useful if monster is still attacking you). Also you can add custom mods to your heavy bowgun like a shield that blocks when you’re facing and not attacking the monster. Monsters may get bigger, move more quickly, or attack more widely, make sure you are safe to attack an angle if it’s safe or wait until the monster has a opening (abusing insect glaive flying may leave you punted to the ground by big monsters!). Lastly keep melee tools sharpened!
This was my first monster hunter game. I was in low rank, and was on a great jaggras quest. Then, I stumbled upon the Anjanath while following the jaggras. I looked at the beast, and it looked at me. My first reaction was, “Finally! A worthy opponent! Our battle will be legendary!” And then I killed it, and finished the quest, with 8 minutes to spare.
@@TheMarsColony Well, the reason I actually got into monster hunter is because of Fatalis. I saw a lot of stuff about him and how challenging he was, and I looked at that thing and said, “I’m gonna kick that things ass,” and I did, and now I’m here with all of you.
Have you used Guardian set? On first quest normal weapons literally just bounce off Anja and without skillfull tenderising its basically impossible to kill him and another monster in such early game :/
If you stick with the Insect Glaive, it'll be useful to know you can feed your Kinsect slinger ammo to power it up Mounting is just a matter of chance. The more airborne attacks you land, the more likely you are to get a mount. For the Glaive specifically, once you mount you pretty much just want to move between the head, body and tail because it's the only weapon that attacks while moving
yeah i kinda figured out the moving while attacking thing (wasnt sure if it was optimal just did it cus it looked cooler XD ) and also i didnt know that about the slinger... probably because i rarely use it lmao
surbscribe if u enjoyed :3
Hope you keep going until you meet a certain black dragon, beating that is the best feeling in MHW

@@Amon_The_Black_Demon you can't kill Anjanath with level 1 weapons
You can beat the entire base game without upgrading your weapon
Can't wait to see your next video 👍
i can't wait for more and i hope you'll get to do iceborne things
I'm hoping to post some Iceborn content as soon as I can!

Ugh she's just like me fr 💖
Btw you have to do aerial damage to get mounts off 💖
@@TheSkyMommy.OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH IVE BEEN LOST ON HOW TO DO IT 😭😭😭
Anjanath is easy! Just focus on its head with ammo and on its tail with slicing ammo and it Will be significantly more effective as a hunt!
hello! i have been playing monster hunter for six years and I know a ton about it! i can help you with any weapon existing!
I am surprised you pronounce his name right, most people I know can't pronounce it right
Well I'm 60 and I have almost 10,000 hours. You guys are so screwed soon. Say hi to my boy Jho
Also manage your stamina correctly or else you won't be able to dodge and you will die at the next hits. Got it?
