The album is what I have been waiting for. I'm not one of those fans living in 2004 and pissy if he is not breaking up with Chilli. This new album brings back the vocals, the R&B, the sexy all without sounding outdated.

He's remained contemporary, while maintaining his identity. Confessions just created an authentic moment that ppl want him to forever re-create. This album and his last were critically received well, it's the fans tendency to look through context to find Usher personally, hence the disconnection. They forget he's an artist, but instead always judged him on such a technical level.
