Flaming Hecking Nora!!! Now this is what I Miss!!! Real Bloody Actors and Actresses that make the Characters so real!!! Sincerely Miss this Dynamic Duo. The Original Eastenders that is now what I refer to as Benders!
TWO COMPLETE LEGENDS I WATCHED FOR THE FIRST TIME ON TUESDAY THE 19TH OF FEBRUARY 1985 WHEN I WAS EIGHT AND NEARLY NINE YEARS OLD!!!!!!!!!!! EastEnders represented the world I lived in at that time which was a MUCH HAPPIER ERA when I had the majority of my family, friends and pets around me and now I’m just a 1970s baby and a 1980s boy trying to love living a life in the 2020s I’ve had no choice but to make the best of…
I'm loving watching classic eastenders one because in the 80s I was a toddler and wasn't old enough to understand the den and Angie era I appreciate it not God they were good together in a bad way how on earth did social services give them adoption rights to Sharon? They must have been drinking wouldn't happen now makes me laugh
The chemistry between Den & Ange was electric
Erratic, you mean.....
@@Jakegothicsnake exactly lol
More sparks than the wire net over a dodgem car track !
@@Jakegothicsnake well that too
So much passion yet the marriage was mostly sexless (Though they were shagging other people)
She's so beautiful.
These two were absolutely brilliant together in this!
Absolutely brilliant acting - perfect 👌

Den and Ange, the original toxic couple 😳😭🤣
Even the dog in the scene is like "maaaate"

@@Joesmomma2011 I know they weren’t there long but it was theirs at the start

1:47 I like how Roly turned to watch whoever was talking. :P
The bit where Den can’t open the door looks ad hoc! Like it wasn’t scripted💜
Eastenders have had some great moments in the decades after this but never again coukf they find this kind of brilliant chemistry.
You don't get dialogue and acting like this nowadays in EastEnders

They? Only Angie was an alcoholic and she didn’t start drinking heavily till later in life due to Dens Affair
@@MMGJr. about 1986-7ish I think
Back in the 60s/70s/80s adoption services didn’t have half the social checks and assessments than they do nowadays.
@@kelsian_smith03 it's terrible now they won't let my friend adopt cause she's 5 pound over weight too much red tape
ICONIC 🙌
He's a classic comedy morment in eastenders
That was wen extenders was good
I feel sorry for Roly. :( And those end credits were LONG!!!!!
Den has the same grey two tone suit on as he had in December 86 just before he divorced Ang’
Do you have the episode after this?
Angie is dressed for dinner at the carrington mansion 😂
Angie reminds me of Bette Davis in "Of Human Bondage" here.
Am guessing that will have been madam jan on the phone, no wonder he rushed upstairs with angie 😂
Angie was a darling proper cockney queen ❤️ what did she call him a dead lush was it? never heard that one before
