I've thought about it but another subscription expense has made me hesitant

If you are on the edge I would suggest purchasing a 12m subscription with the view of not renewing. There is a lot you can learn in 12m, and thinking of it as a one time $350 ish purchase rather than an ongoing subscription somehow feels better.
