My collection used to be double in size. One day I purged all the games I had to "relearn" every time I wanted to play them. Having kids makes one really judicious with one's time 😂
Tidal Blades! We played this last week at 4P. I had only played solo or 2P before. I was considering selling it but my wife (not a gamer) really enjoyed it. I think the aesthetic was a big part for her. So, I kept it. And then one of my game group friends asked to play it. It was a BLAST at four players and has definitely reinvigorated my love for and desire to play it again. Really great game and solid production all around. Great inclusion on the list!
A Game of Thrones second edition. It used to hit the table frequently, especially during the early seasons of the series. Now, I can't even put together six willing players still interested in the theme.
@@Gomolkus Pro tip, put all the components together when you pack it up, get's set up done in about 10 min (but it adds an extra 15 min to clean up when you're done)
I knew War of the Ring would be on there! Got mine last year for Christmas but haven't gotten to play. I'll be happy to play once a year. Love the IP and I think I'll love the game
A perhaps lesser-known little brother to Suburbia is a game called Subdivision. I picked up a copy maybe 6 months ago but have not played it yet. Looks to be a shorter, simpler game.
I game that I have an unrequited love relationship with is Magic Realm. I have only played it a few times, and I have to realearn and teach it ever time.
Big games we need to re-learn to some extent when we get them to the table: War of the Ring, and also... Burncycle. Each play is getting is closer to not needing to re-check the rules, but still not getting to table enough.
This year's been pretty horrible getting games played... not so much a time management issue as it's been a lack of players issue. But, my list (in no particular order) is: 10) Tzolk'in 9) Mice and Mystics 8) Shadows Over Camelot 7) Heroquest 6) Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim 5) Fury of Dracula 4) Legendary 3) Betrayal at the House on the Hill 2) Talisman 1) Eldritch Horror
Imperial 2030 Civilization Successors John Company Games I prefer at 5+ that generally take a long time. Usually a game day by themselves. I have often gone through spurts, where they hit the table a few times then don’t come out again for a year or more.

You got me in Mechs vs Mnions. Nice list! Thank you for sharing.

Dinosaur Island, also love the paint job on the peg board

Benioff and Weiss took a dump on everything GOT after their disaster of an ending lol
@@NoeAnton this is so true, I have never seen a franchise self-destruct so quickly. Almost no-one gives a crap about it now.
Mage Knight. One of my top ten games that I only get to play every ~2-3 years.
Play it solo! You can play it whenever you want
@@robertdascoli949I think maybe the setup time here is the problem

I love Feast for Odin. Hard to table due to me having younger kids

How does mechs vs minions compare with robo rally gameplay wise?
My entire collection is around 50 games, at least 40 of those dont get played as much as Id like!
