Stellar list! "Ark Nova" is addictively good, "A Feast for Odin" is such a fun sandbox, and I'm stoked to try "Obsession". I think I'll get "Dune: Imperium" on the table again very soon, too. Happy Holidays✨
Right in the slot. Just past the click, that wonderful moment. Light enough to know what I'm doing, heavy enough to really enjoy doing it. Jim Lahey if he played boardgames
Grand Australia Hotel Lorenzo Il Magnifico Manhattan Project Energy Empire Caverna Suburbia Everdell Gugong Orleans Just a few of my favourite mid weight games
@greentriangler is it obvious? I'm willing to bet they checked at least one FLGS, and likely a few large online retailers. "Obviously NO TIME WHATSOEVER" feels like how much time you spent considering your comment.
I'd add in my favorite competitive game of all time, Champions of Midgard. The base game is technically not in the 3 - 4 complexity rating, according to BGG. (It's "2.somehting," which I find surprising.) But if you throw in the expansions (which obviously no one would ever play without them), then the complexity just hits 3. In that scenario, I'd put Champions of Midgard high on this list!!!
From the Italian school, Darwins journey is my take. From garphill I'm ok with wayfarers. If solo, legacy of yu )have not played Ezra). From Wallace maybe Mombasa or skylines Instead of gwt.
Great list. I’d add brass Birmingham in this category.
You guys have been working overtime, thanks for the great content!
This list sounds like my perfect weekend.

Great stuff - so many Suchy's suit this weight class perfectly 😊
Fantastic list!
Great list of games!
Thanks for the list!
Great list
Love this list!
I recently got the La Granja deluxe master set on black friday from my FLGS! I'm hyyyyyped to get it to the table now!
Stroganov, Shogun No Katana are a couple of lesser known midweight+/heavy- games that are really good.
It's so funny I just come across your comment. I was just looking up Stroganov maybe 30 minutes ago. I'd never heard of it before.
Prodigals club is also my favorite!

Can't get a copy of prodigals club anywhere...
It is available on the publisher's site. You obviously spent no time looking whatsoever.

Feast for Odin, biiiiiiiiiiit heavy i reckon for this list.
wait,, Wayfarers is mega-heavy! you guys!
I'm surprised by Ark Nova. I'd rank that complexity as a 6!
Most of these games are past my comfort zone
Glass Road
Le Havre, stands for The Havre. Underrated joke.
These are light heavyweight?! I would consider some of these heavyweight. Granted.. I don’t think I own any game that has a complexity over 4.
Frenchie here. Havre is not French for harbor.
Feast for Odin a LIGHT heavyweight game??? interesting.
3.86 complexity rating so that's an ok description. Weird because this list on BBG is called Medium Heavy
@@laartwork Looks like they're using boxing categories instead of the BGG terminology (featherweight, middleweight, light heavyweight, heavyweight)
