Great! Thanks very much for posting this. I look forward very much to seeing the others you have. Great band, great talent, great fun. Nice to see talented musicians who do not take themselves too seriously.
I was at this gig - i've posted up a short clip of Video Killed the Radio Star. Tina Charles was great - she sang lead vocals on 'Slave to The Rhythm'.
the singer is Chris Braide. kinda looks a little bit like Eric Stewart too - coincidence? nahhhhh... =) such dreamy chords.. loved this 10cc song for a long time. gotta love Lol Creme - one of the best names in pop music... =)
unfortunately I was stopped from videoing the encore which ironically was Video Killed the Radio Star!!!!, plus Tina - she did however seem to have her own guy videoing her, but i've not idea if that is on the web - sorry. I do have some more Producers video to load, so watch this space!.....
OK, here we go again - yes it is....really, it is - read the other comments. No its NOT the 80's band of that name but it IS the 2008 band of that name, now called US and signed to ZTT featuring some famous and talented producers like Trevor Horn and Steve Lipscombe (hence the previous name)....
So in other words, what you're saying is, Trevor Horn and company took a name that had already been put into use by a band (one that had a reasonably high profile during the early MTV days, no less) rather than thinking of an original name.
What model is trevor horn's bass ??? I scrutinized the whole DVD of the prince's trust concert he did, and at no moment I could see the name on the headstock! Even with slow motion, 4X zoom and frame by frame... Couldn't find out!
I appreciate that this is an old thread but I'm still going to comment anyway! It's about time Lol Creme and especially Trevor Horn got back to fronting some sort of live or even studio band. They both have far too much talent as artists (let alone producers) to NOT be doing something new we could all enjoy. Incidentally I think the reason for some of the confusion by some people here about whether it is or it's not another band which was known as The Producers is because that other band WAS called "The Producers", whereas this band (i.e. the talented one!) was very carefully and strategically named just "Producers" without the "The" in front... if you see what I mean? I wonder if Johnny is still riding on that monorail? ;-!

Loved this version. Looks like they had such fun playing it. I'm now questioning whether Trevor did the original Big boys line.. Lol. So funny.

guess thats why they have changed their name - I ought to edit the title of the piece!!! :)

A peach. Looks as though Lol won Keith Moon's eyebrows in the raffle.

This isn't The Producers!
This isn't the producers, sorry. :(
if you read the other comments you will see that it was and now its not....if you follow!
Yea not the Producers at least not the 80's band that sings She Sheila.
sorry...that's NOT The Producers. They wouldn't sing a 10CC song!
LOL OK Chill :) I'm looking for the 80's band.... not this one.
Don't you hate DBs who use a band name that has already been taken? Plus, this song sucked 30 + years ago, why trick us into hearing it again?
