It (America's Judiciary Branch) won't get back up anytime soon because the country is severely divided, and Trump was able to seat many MAGA federal judges the four years he was in office--over 200 of them. Just think, rural voters receive majority SNAP benefits and the Republicans cut more $30B from the SNAP budget from a recent house bill, which Biden agreed to sign in order to get most of his proposed legislature through.
These people vote against their own interest, all because of hate for others and being low-formation voters. There is absolutely no reason to suffer because you hate people who don't look like you. The American farmers will suffer too because their support comes from SNAP; and, yes, they too vote against their own best interest in favor of Republicans.
Democrats have never been against supporting farmers as the government generously augments their financial stability through nonrepayable grants. There work and mission is very important to America as they provided food for its citizenry. How sad--Alas!
Recusal is far from sufficient. Alito has broken one of the prime judicial tenets. Judges must be - and be seen to be - impartial. His is not only an arrogant disregard of judicial propriety, but also an attack of on the rule of law. He should be impeached and that process ought to start immediately. I am sick of this constant kowtowing to these people with no regard for the institutions of the Republic

All the things Jeffries just outlined will be possible and perhaps more if Democrats do both chambers and the presidency this November. There will be ethical laws and possibly impeachment, even though the GOP will likely block that as the Dems would need 67 votes t to convict a judge or president. Expanding the courts might be an option as well. All these options that once seemed unlikely will be on the table in 2025 and beyond if the Dems control the government.
Recuse? Impeach him and Thomas and the ones who lied about abortion.

That being said, SCOTUS is supposed to be subject to Senate oversight. It's a problem that the GOP isn't willing to address these obvious conflicts.

Should be a mandatory 10 year Judicial Review in Congress, and lose their seat if both Chambers vote 'No Confidence', then the current POTUS gets to nominate a replacement. Every 10 years. There appears plenty of evidence that Alito and Thomas have broke the rules. What penalty should they have to suffer? I ask this knowing they are Supreme Court justices, but are also human. Regardless, they are guilty of conduct that sullies the integrity of the court.
