Great video...literally 2 minutes down the road from me, seen him around many times but not seen him in the Veyron yet!
Ok. Got it now. Call me a jealous troll if you like, but this guy did it all with daddy's money. "I had a car and a driver at age 14, for"work:, then I passed him in the car I bought and he followed me to the gate". Doesn't mean that he didn't build a nice business for himself, but I am more into people who grinded it down until they got where they are now. Tony from Gravelwood for instance: a former bus driver making millions on cars now.
True he had it passed on from Dad, but it's interesting to see how he was raised, there is a vid on YT where they explain how his father pulled him from school early to teach him how to buy and sell cars, so he didn't really have a choice, it's a good thing he did love cars doe. Also slighlty annoyed that he got all that handed to him, but he seems to handle it well and he doesn't seem like a dbag about it all

So many people having digs that you'd be nowhere without your dad. Fair play to you mate, your obviously good at what you do and passionate about these amazing cars. Always gonna be jealousy for people who have a lot of money but such is life! Enjoy it mate, your in a very enviable position

Carl, is it true that you took your driving test in an F50? I'm sure I once read that the examiner criticised the way you changed gear until you explained it was the characteristic of the open gate shift.

The only driver I had, when I was 14 was an old Callaway with half the head missing and I used to tee up dead rodents after a good ratting session and belt them into Kingdom come . Tiger woods would have been proud .

Lost all respect for the Carl and his dad when I visited the London Classic Car Show earlier this year; Joe Macari was there letting people sit in his ex-Schumacher F1 car and numerous valuable Ferraris whilst the Hartley lot were hiding behind a red rope fence and a pair of burly security guards... High horse comes to mind.

If you have the funds to choose a new car why get another Lamborghini model youve experienced already? For the same price why not get something preowed prebuilt thats been made with love that ultimately would beat the stock Lamborghini for half the price? Something like a bmw m6 or a corvette with aftermarket everything ive seen so many corvettes with a crete motor installed Ls6 or bigger with new drivetrain exhaust tyres brakes etc big turbos nos and performance electronics installed? That cost very little for the speed trill and price Its all worth buying using for the trill then selling it on your not worse off but had that experience then another aventador ?
Alex piv because Corvettes are nowhere near Lamborghini. Even if the Corvette is faster after spending £1000s and voiding the warranty, it just isn't the same as a Lamborghini
