The college conference volcano has erupted. Last Friday’s implosion of the PAC 12 is yet another reminder that collegiate sports is unsettled and quickly evolving into professional sports.
The latest upheaval was driven by television networks who pour millions of dollars each year into conference offices. To their credit, schools are no longer pretending decisions to move from one league to another are fueled by academics.
Football is king.
You either get on the bus or get left behind, like Stanford, Cal, Oregon State and Washington State.

I would argue WVU out played TCU for the majority of their B12 time, now obviously last year, TCU boosted their prestige.
The big 12 needs to add more east coast teams not all the west coast teams

No!! the Big 12 did us right on going to Houston , it will be a night game... big crowd , you will love it , the biggest stage for our boys , this is why kids come WVU .. Kids like playing in big games... Well , only things is...our kids like playing in big games, and fans realize its more important to the program to win the big games... I hope someday we all get on the same page... it doesn't matter , the game is scheduled, and our boys will go and play the game.... Its up to our boys to start our record in Houston to be 1-0 and then the come to Morgantown... UCF is another one in the deep south .... 10/28 just days before Halloween... Might be a night game? Its time to show up...
When the ACC crumbles, Pitt, VT, Louisville will be in the B12.

How stupid did the ASU leadership sound in that press conf. Talking about how great the PAC12 TV was. I thought they made it pretty clear ASU doesn’t want to be in the big12 and only come over because they had to. The big12 should’ve left them behind with the other two elitist schools in California. Oregon State would’ve been a much better choice and I’m sure they would’ve been pumped to be in the big12.
