I guess being co-owned gave the advantage of equalized network program lines in NYC. Here in the Midwest, we had to settle for 3 KHz frequency response. I remember the first satellite feed, incredible audio.

When WABC-AM dropped the music format on 5-10-82, 'PLJ should've picked up the Top 40 baton.
