They want 270 bucks here in Canada to do rear pads that doesn’t include pads or rotors thank you for saving me a bunch of money.😊

Thank you for your video. Very informative. I did not watch any video before starting the rear brake pad change. I did not know about putting the e-brake maintenance mode. I learned to watch a UA-cam video before doing anything.

Replace the dam battery in the smoke detector then replace the brakes 😅

Lol hittin it with your purse. Preciate how to put the parking brake in maintenance mode. I’ve done pads / rotors on cars without e brake and never had to do that.

Sure it was easy he forgot half the steps, wasn’t sure and kept backpedaling because he left out steps. I watch 7-8 videos and this was the worst.

You should always have Jack stands.

EXCELLENT! One thing I might add is watching for the brake fluid reservoir overflowing when the calipers are retracted. What size jack do I need to make the same move under the differential?

Where is a jack stand or wood to hold the truck if the jack falls?

Is it necessary to remove the top from the master cylinder first?

Did you open / add any brake fluid to reservoir? Did you have a bleed it off? I appreciate you! I am about to tackle this tomorrow

Brave man trusting that harbor freight jack... lol I've had 4x collapse on me , LOL YES 4X . THEY last 1x year only when used regularly..I service them too and it still doesn't lengthen their life span

What capacity jack is needed for this move under the differential? Is 3 1/2 ton sufficient?

You didn't have to decompress the actuator electric motor on the breaks?
How did the piston just go back in with it being an electric breaking system???

It'll come in a box of 2 sets, usually, but they'll only go on a certain way so you shouldn't have a problem figuring it out.

Good chance they lied. Same happened to me at 18k miles. At 23k - different Ford dealership, they said I was at 6mm.

Never heard an axle called a tube

      Definitely not called an axle.

    • @simplydone01

It's ok - part of the differential housing. Axle tube is not inaccurate.

Is it mean because you crash and kill some one because you have brake failure? Don’t answer that I can see you are already brain dead
