Hey! That's MY L300 at the 15 second mark! Got it from you guys a few years ago. It was the very first sale Javan Imports made here. It's doing great, by the way :)
Nice review, we have historically sold the StarWagons here in the states, but have quickly fallen in love with these. The LWB model is a huge plus too!
Excellent review and what I really liked was you demonstrated what does what like you actually folded down the back seats and showed the bed set up thankyou👍👍
They left out the Middle so you can walk through to the back. You Don't have to go out side and come back in through the sliding Door. We have a Delica L 400, just Love it. Thank you.
Awesome video, thanks! I found one online I am considering buying. But the other side of me wants a van I can live in full-time, like a Hi-Ace. Still subscribing!
You can get them there, there is a few youtube vids on a photographer who got one in, and his conversion to camper, he did quite a good job ! look up - "Thomas Heaton Delica"
I am looking at one now in AUS , I like the look of it, just wanting to know if it can be lifted easily, I really like the idea of both the front chairs able to be rotated 180... so you can use them for lounge chairs in your rear living area if you make it a camper... ;)
We use a Space Gear as a work van in the Local Flying School in the Philippine I tell you what, it can take a hell of a beating and it wont quit Performance is a bit lame.. it has the Torque 🤷♂ it can pull 2 tons up a hill without hesitations
They left the space in between the seats so you can walk to the back of the van. I have a VW T5 which has nothing between the seats and is much more convenient than the T4 I had previously.
My Retro Vans Nope, I mostly pull up and go straight into the back and never open or close a door. Plus my fridge is behind my seat so I’ll buy 2 drinks from a service station and put one in the fridge from the cabin.
@@MyRetroVans the thing I love most about estima lucida is the lack of centre console, it's great being able to get to the back from the front and vice versa. Modern cars are just full of pointless interior architecture, much nicer to have empty space and freedom to choose what to do with it
@@subspaceanomaly After driving both the L400 & Granvia for long periods of time, I've come to appreciate the open space. Still, I love the center console on the L300...

Cool. Very great engine. This version of the 4M40 has never been available in europe, only the one with 125 HP and 292 NM. Would be so glad to get some more specs of this engine and drivetrain. I guess one option was the V5M31 manual gearbox, but the power versions of the 4M40 may had different final drive gear ratios. Some rumors say they were available with 5 speed AT in addition to that..?
I'm looking at getting one of these used with 90k miles on it. Looks to be in excellent condition. How is reliability, and part availability with these ? I live on the east coast of the US
I have found that these require a lot of work (many of the original parts were faulty and eventually updated by Mitsubishi) by experienced mechanics after procurement to diagnose each issue. However, once all the worn parts are replaced, they run well for a long time. I think the engine and entire experience is fantastic.
@@MyRetroVans as far as parts that need to be replaced, are you talking suspension, water pumps etc. ? and how expensive are parts for these? are they reasonable?
