With numerous restaurants, a supersized pool scene and a striking exterior, the Swandor Hotels & Resorts Topkapi Palace is fit for a king and queen.
This place has been designed to look like Istanbul’s palace of the same name - think arched walkways, striped domes and a castle-style entrance.
The hotel’s pulled up to Lara Beach’s long belt of sand. It’s a 10-minute drive into town for restaurants and shops. Head 10 minutes in the other direction, meanwhile, and you’ll reach a group of golf courses.
Deluxe and deluxe superior double rooms, plus 2 bedroom family rooms are bookable. All rooms feature a minibar, tea or coffee-making facilities, an LCD Satellite TV, central air-conditioning, and free Wi-Fi. And, depending on your booking, you'll have a balcony or terrace, too.
There’s a lot going on at this hotel. You’ve got a couple of pools to pick from, including a waterpark and kids’ pool. There’s also a beach with jetties. On dry land, you can make the most of activities like tennis, yoga and volleyball, or head to the spa. There’s a separate schedule for children, thanks to a well-equipped kids’ club. And things are just as lively in the evening, with family shows and themed parties. Food-wise, there’s a pair of buffet and à la carte restaurants, as well as a beach place and a patisserie.

Not for nothing is Lara Beach known as Turkey’s Las Vegas. Here you’ve got a strip lined with epic hotels modelled on world-famous landmarks. So don’t be surprised to stumble across the Kremlin or Titanic on your travels. And just like in Vegas, you’ll find clubs and even the odd celebrity. Only here, you’ve also got an eight-kilometre sandy beach.

Not bad not good. If you prefer meat, mostly they provide chicken and turkey in the main restaurant. But guests like their Turkish a la carte much. But it's for extra charge.
