This is one of the few game shows where the set didn't really change at all in its entire run from 1982-1991, but the wardrobe and overall vibe showed the passing times.
Only noticeable things are the trilons in the main game and front game with the subjects are changed from blue to white and the hue of the $25,000 pyramid sign up top changed from the dark blue to a lighter blue same for the $100,000 pyramid and then desk and Dick Clark’s podium color was a darker shade of reddish orange color and the mics at the winner circle and the contestants area slightly changed
One thing I noticed is that the person trying to think of the correct answer tends to “overthink”, when in reality the answer is very obvious and simple.
