    Ihave had several 2000/3000w wzrelb inverters and they have all worked well. with this new model what I really wanted to see is if the 20a plugs are wired separately or as one... and how the new wiring works for the 25a circuit as its different than previous wzrelb.

    Wish you would have plugged in a n AC safety tester. Too many people are finding AC voltage on the neutral out which is dangerous. is the Neutral showing it's safe with an AC safety tester?

    Noob question for inverters with hardwire options for higher loads. Do you need to wire in a breaker or can you simply wire in a an outlet with 12ga? I suspect it's always best to have a breaker in line when hard wiring.

    No remote switch to turn it off so you don't loss power if not using it? Can you run a RV A/C unit by itself?

      @@scott1artgmail0 information provided in your comment. I have powered a roof too AC with the old 300w. But I went in and fixed the live ground issue beforehand. It's been running strong since 2019.

    Just saying you should connect the negative first and then the positive. if you connect the positive first that means the negative end is live. that's why you're getting a spark. And make sure the appliance is switched off before you connect it.

    • @fritzkabeano1969
      @fritzkabeano1969 Рік тому +1

      You're getting a spark because the inrush current is charging the capacitors. This will happen regardless of which line you hook up first. To avoid this from happening you need to pre-charge the capacitors by placing a 10 watt resister/or a low wattage light bulb w/wires in-between the the positive wire and terminal for a few seconds until the capacitors charge up then connect your main wire. NOT DOING THIS WILL DESTROY YOUR INVERTER EVENTUALLY. This should have been shown in the video.

      I've had Xantrex engineers go over my inverter instalation and never recommended what you suggest. It is also not in any of the instructions included with any of the Inverters I've ever installed. In fact every instruction manual mentions the spark as normal in the instalation process. Your method may help in capacitor longevity but is in no way required for typical installations. Every inverter I have ever owned still works just fine so I would assume the effect of the spark is miniscule. Just my opinion. Thanks for the comment and happy camping.

    You lost me at “low shutoff current”. Current is amperage, not voltage.
