For techie seniors like me, it's preferable. it's smaller, lighter and easy to hold. It can do 90% of what larger and heavier iPad Pros can do. I'm in my middle 70s and I'll get an iPad mini 7 when it rolls out. Even if Apple will retain its size, I wish the screen and body ratio would improve with narrower bezels. Nanotech and miniaturization can make it lighter and thinner. Also, it would be nice if it has the capability to use Apple Pencil 3 and beyond.

I love my iPad mini 6. I use it for everything including drawing on. I've done commissions on my iPad mini 6 and worked perfectly for me. When I draw traditionally I never go bigger then a a4 size paper so the mini 6 is perfect size for me and is so light. I have a friend who has the air and even that screen is too big for me. I've got a learning disability.

Wife and I are in our fifties, so ability to see screens is an issue. So:
IPad Pro for my wife. Netflix, reading magazines (likes architecture, so big pictures are better), emails etc.
IPad Mini for me. More portable but allows me to see more than on my phone. Also I have an old truck (Land Rover Defender) as my daily driver. So the Mini, sitting on an angled mount on the dash, acts as the head unit for Spotify, but also Sat Nav with Google Maps etc.
Additionally, as an estate agent who's always on the move, it's easier for quick-fire emails in the truck and also large enough to use to show clients other listings on the screen.
Well now I wish I hadn’t cut a whole 2 minute section out of the video about how the iPad Pro is better for aging eyes. It’s a real help to have that bigger screen. Thanks for letting us hear your experience!

I own the mbp m2 but im thinking of getting an ipad for on the go quick photo editing and video editing like reels/youtube videos. Also for digital note taking/journal aswell content consumption. What would you advice as im stuck between the m2 11 inch and ipad mini 6. Will appreciate your advice thanks
Quick edit: this is my first ipad, im intending to buy this and take me atleast 3-4 years from now. So keeping in mind i wont be upgrading as i like to buy tech and stick to it for years. Pls advice on which one is better for the longer run.
Im seeing so many videos and comments about ipad mini releasing soon or upgrades are needed. I’d prefer to get something now and not upgrade in 2-3 months time 😫
Get the larger iPad, if you’re doing all of that work on it you’ll be glad you got the larger size
I’ve got an iPad Pro 2018 ram and had it for years but really want to fresh it up a bit. Was thinking of switching to a Mac book air and getting an iPad mini 6 aswell for leisure and quick college/uni work. Having this combo of devices seem like a great idea but I wanna know what you think 😂
Personally having a MacBook (pro or air) and an iPad mini is my favorite setup so I definitely think you should give it a shot!

I have an iPad Pro M2 12.9 inch and it’s great don’t get me wrong but it is sooooo big and heavy with the Magic Keyboard Case on it. I actually will grab my M3 MacBook Air instead on the go just for the sheer fact that it is lighter in my bag but I enjoy using my iPad for note taking etc so I am definitely investing in the iPad mini for the portability alone the fact that I can use my Magic Pencil with the iPad mini has me sold. It just seems like the perfect on the go companion device.

I have the iPad air mostly for work on the go. But the mini 6 is so portable I might consider switching. Im waiting for the mini 7 when it comes out

I bought the pro 11 M2, 512gb for 699… as I’m waiting for this im seeing all this mini content. Might return and wait for the 7.

Nice! Pleasure to meet you, yes I use the iPad mini for preaching, but I find the iPad Pro a lot easier to see on stage while not directly in the pulpit

I personally believe the iPad Air is the best in between for a pro and a mini. it is probably the best overall iPad based on experience, price, etc. I have a 12.9 M2 Pro and Mini 6, two totally different use cases with similarities

@@JonAdamsTech i use my daily, between 5 to 6 hours some days. It is anything from my second display, to my note taking, Lightroom, meetings, etc. obviously for entertainment purpose as well with games and movies/shows. I wish the battery was a little bit better with it having a M2. It is not as power efficient as it should be in my opinion.
The key thing buyers need to know before you buy an iPad regardless, it was is your use case going to be. Maximize the purchase

Nice! I have all of that on my Logos Bible app so I can read that on my computer or iPad, logos has been such a great tool for me over the years!

I'm dreaming to become a pilot since my childhood, now I've completed my 12th standard (cbse syllabus) obtaining 90% for physics and maths..also becoming a maths topper in my school.but I don't have funds to do my pilot training..I'm really really manifesting my dream to become a pilot..so my mother asked me to take BBA degree as distance education and do a short time course and find a job in gcc countries..then earn from there for my pilot training..i don't know how much it will work though..i was having a plan to clear all dgca exams by my own self preparation..so for that now I'm trying to get an iPad mini for my study purpose..i would be very much grateful if someone sponsor that to me..then I'm studying stock market trading for side income ..for that also iPad mini will be good for me...if someone who's able to sponsor that huge amount i would be really really grateful for their helpful mentality.. I'm ready to borrow money from those who are willing to pay to me..but one condition is I can only pay after I get a job..I feel like anyone will help me..crowd funding wil also help me to achieve my dream.. everything is a credit ..
