2022 Model Y Performance 104,721 miles. I bought the car new. Ive had zero issues with it. Love the vehicle. I just picked up my BEAST last week. The power difference is unbelievable.

That's good to hear. I've been doing lots of testing and still no issues here. What's your range at 80%?

@Davidmccombs At 100K I performed the battery health test and it came back at 85%. My range is well over 200 miles. For example I make frequent road trips of 185 miles at 80MPH and I make it to my destination with 5% remaining. I do have larger tires and spacers on my car which effect the range.

I also just bought a used Model Y (also black) with over 100,000 miles, and I've been really pleased with it so far. Tesla had recently replaced the battery pack, so that was an extra incentive, along with the $4K subsidy off the price for sub $25K qualifying BEVs. Which made it a surprising bargain overall. Thanks for the review and tips. And the best of luck with your new/used Tesla!

Sounds like you got a great deal! I wish my battery pack was newer but at least it’s still under warranty for the next few years.

I sold my old 2014 Model S this past April in preparation to buy a new M3 this December. It had 136k miles on it and had the older tech. I wouldn't hestoate to buy a 2020 MY with 100k for the right price. I'm actually thinking of switching gears and buying a lightly used M3 now. The prices are really pretty insane. We'll see.

I wanted less miles, but we were a bit in a hurry and it was a pretty good deal. An M3 would have been a much better deal. We considered it, but have a new baby with a car seat. Still happy about the purchase. Hope It turns out well!

Yeah right now is the time to do it. The EV rebate expires in about 8 years

Teslas are known to fail? If that statement was even half the truth, the model y wouldn't be the best seller that it is.

I wonder if Evs will last longer than ice vehicles due to the motor on an ev not having as many parts that fail as an engine, that’s my hope at least, essentially a car that just needs to have its tires and batteries replaced but everything else lasts a long time

Personally, I would only recommend very experienced drivers to use fsd. I wouldn't use it as a crutch. I don't mean to come off rude. I say this for safety reasons. Full self driving can make the worst decision at the worst moments.

I’ve been using it for the past few months. I think you do have to be trained to use it. But it’s also been helpful for my wife has hasn’t driven in years. It’s boosting her confidence for easy drives but it’s still far from perfect. You can’t rely on it for everything but for simple stuff it seems fine.
