- Today we would be on the finish line of 1000 Miglia 2020 rally... if not for the complicated situation around the world.
It was the most exciting thing we've ever done by far, even considering we were playing catch-up, following the rally as a "normal" traffic participant. The rush, the views, the adrenaline... It was spectacular!
Now let's hope we will meet again in October for 1st leg of 1000 Miglia 2020, to follow along "la freccia rossa" 🇮🇹

Honestly this made me shed a tear a little. Such a beautiful video that portrays everyone’s love for these amazing automobiles! No matter who or what we are, these pieces of art and machines bring us together through sun and rain!!

Great video. How difficult is for someone to follow behind the race in a normal car as a tourist? This would be on my bucket list.
Thank You! If you include filming and taking pictures, it is surprisingly difficult to keep up with the pack. But since organizers are sharing exact route beforehand, with good preparation it is not that hard to stay on route. The most important thing is to be sure You don't interfere in any way with the rally results and be always respectful to competitors, then everything will be fine! The experience is really worth it 👍
@@LowTraveller Thanks so much for the reply. It sounds amazing. Did you have trouble getting hotel rooms at the stops? What kind of car did you drive for it?
First night we were almost at stage finish, for second night we didn't bother to enter Rome and stayed outside of city, near 3rd day route. Third night we were not in Bologna due to unavailability of rooms, we stayed near Modena. So mixed luck, but with famous app for hotel booking 😉 there area always few options available even during the day of travel, especially since we were traveling in 2

Hello Ricardo! No, the 2019 edition was held in the middle of May and the weather was... a bit "capriccioso" :)
