As a person with insomnia, (and who’s a hopeless romantic) this really sets my writers brain into a “going to sleep” scene and it helps me fall asleep. Tysm for this!

And yes, sort of...but also no...
So what I do, is I find every single scene that I can that has the character sleeping--including outtakes, and also sometimes clips from the actor's social media, other shows/movies, interviews etc. and I isolate the vocals to eliminate the background music and sounds of the scene.
Then I figure out what parts of the breathing patterns and tones are the same throughout, and I synch them up, adjust the levels and pacing of the other clips, mesh them together and cut out the parts that aren't really fitting well until I have a loop that sounds natural. Then I find a snoring, sleeping, or breathing loop from a free sound clip resource, and I superimpose the pieces of the character that make them really stand out over the generic one...trim up some of the details...etc.
So overall, it is really the sound of that character breathing and sleeping, and then it's regulated and made consistent and natural sounding by building in other sleeping and snoring loops that I dig up online.

I’ve listened to this as I fall asleep. I woke up at 2:30am one morning thinking Dean was next to me. My husband was out of town on business, and I was having trouble sleeping. This put me back to sleep pretty quick.

i tap Dean on the shoulder, he sits up and his hand releases the grip on the knife when he feels my hand. Quietly he mumbles, “thought you and Sam were asleep?”
I sigh can I ask you something?
Dean sees the concern in my eyes and turns on a light, “what is it? Are you ok?”
I start to cry, “yes ,no, I don’t know. I met a girl I really like we’ve been friends for a year.”
Dean cuts me off, “Why are you crying kitty? This sounds good so far. Is there a but.”
I wipe my eyes and take a breath, “She has cancer. It keeps coming back over and over. You said if something bleeds you can kill it. Can you kill her cancer?”
Dean wraps me in a hug, “kitty, as much as I would love to be able to treat cancer like the fugly demon that it is, I can’t do that. This might not be what you want to hear, but all you can do is pray. She needs your faith your loyalty, and your love, no matter what. I know you can do that. Now do you want to climb back into bed with Sam”
“I can’t go back to sleep.”
Dean gathers me in his arms and holds me to his chest,”I’m so sorry kitty. Please try and rest.”
