This may sound strange but this actually helped me for my practical audiology exam. We get tested on technical aspects and basic aspects like taking a case history. My uni takes things super seriously with client care type thing and so I knew all the questions to ask but we are meant to use open-ended questions rather than just hammering them with closed questions like "was it in the left ear". Numerous times you demonstrated open-ended questions that were really useful and will end up with the same results and makes the client feel less stressed and remember more issues. Also, I know this was for ASMR purposes but random fact - the bit where you said something about the sounds not being loud and painful, if we are testing for a retrocochlea lesion we will do speech testing with "roll-over" which is really loud, but only if we have other results to suspect it.
I have been caught in a loop for the past year between this link from this comment and the link from the comment in the other video, please send help !
I've recently noticed this as well. My favorites are Gentle Whispering and Moonlight Cottage. This is the first video by BehindtheMoons I've watched and it's so soothing 😴
This made me so nostalgic, I remember doing hearing tests when I was a kid - it was a forgotten memory. I was half expecting to hear those beeps. Great, relaxing video
Just a note to show appreciation for the creativity, innovation, and time that has gone into making this content. A welcome aural interruption of the almost incessant internal dialogue. Gratitude.
This video is overflowing with evidence of extensive preparation and attention to detail. This might be my new favorite video of yours, which is a very prestigious title considering how many good ones there are!
I didn’t know that was possible to put asmr down.. I discovered the asmr trend just a year and a half ago (never realized I had been seeking it out my entire life, I’m 36) but I hate when I have to give a short break to get my tingles back😆☺️ I don’t know how you didn’t watch it for years.. I bet you’re super tingly 🤣😂🤣
your video just popped up in my ytb recommendations, and thx god i'm not disappointed, this algorithm knows me by heart ! I've been feeling so uneasy with speaking asmr videos, but your voice is soooo relaxing ! Thanks for your great work
Oh thank you so much! In this remake I added additional hearing exercices, I can only hope it's even better than the first video! But you will be the judge of that :)
@@BehindTheMoons The judge says it was amazing. 😍 I just love it, that you tap on your tablet. The function itself is so creative, but the sound is great, too :) And to be honest, on your "old" video I mostly skip to the repeat the words part, because that is my favourite asmr trigger and I hate, that most Asmrtists do that only with a few words. So I can't thank you enough, that you do that for several minutes, really, thank you! :) Also great, that you used more words this time and less repetitions. It's a great video. Will be one of my all time favourites. Also, you look very cute and I like your accent a lot.
A great idea and fantastic feelings from the video (your voice is perfect for ASMR), I have always wondered what a hearing test would be like. Excellent as ever!
I love your soft spoken voice so much! I’ve been watching asmr video on UA-cam for a few years and this video gives me sooooo much tingles that I never had before!
Ah the new hearing test is up and I can finally listen to it without the crushing guilt of not having gone to one irl in a while. I've finally done it!
@@BehindTheMoons it went as I expected, it's just that I have to go to these fairly regularly as a deaf person, and I would really rather not do that, so I postpone them and then feel bad about it)
@@MM-jc7uv im profoundly deaf on the right ear, my left hears mostly okay. My speech comprehension is garbage though, so often I just don't understand what people are saying unless it's super quiet and there's only one person talking. That works fine for asmr bc even if I don't understand 80% of it, it also genuinely doesn't matter. And when I do, it's bc there are no other distractions. Deafness is a spectrum😉
@@StupidPoetry so if you were to be profoundly deaf in both ears, hearing aids wouldnt do anything right? Also my hearing in my right ear is quite a bit better than my left but I wouldn’t say I’m deaf at all (should probably get it checked out tho)
Been listening/watching your videos for a while. I absolutely cannot believe that you don’t have millions of subscribers! Your content is fantastic and really helps me focus at work. Thank you so much 😊
Congratulations on your perfect English. I grew up in Australia and spoke this language all my life. Thankyou for making it sound new and beautiful again.
Absolutely worth the wait on this one. Sooooo soothing and I nearly dozed off several times during the video. Very relaxing and I felt like all the words during the last half was like trying to trigger an asmr Winter Soldier lol. Ready to comply with relaxation lol. Loved this!
I recently found your channel while browsing UA-cam looking for an asmr video that can ease the pain in my head as I continue with my thesis ... Excellent videos. Love from Mexico.
Thank you so much for this. There are a lot of hearing test asmr’s out there, but commonly they use super loud and awful noises for it. You use really nice sounds!
I loved it ❤️ first time watching an hearing test video and it was worth it! Thanks ☺️ Btw, I really enjoy the way you spell words in english, very relaxing. Greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷❤️

That’s what I searched up and this was first aswell also really enjoyed the video
Same
Same
The difference is non existent on my end too.
I didn’t think it could get better than the repeat-the-word part, but then came the repeat-the-word-with-background-sounds part. So tranquil. Merci!
It's one of my fav exercices from the video as well :) probably with the music slowy increasing exercice! I'm happy you liked it 💗
I'm a big fan of these hearing exams of yours! 👏😄 I know they involve a lot of audio editing so thank you so much!!
