Picked this watch up a few months back, and all I can say is good things, such a gorgeous watch that shifts color with lighting changes, and on my 8.6-inch wrist, it fits perfectly. beautifully finished and specs that rival watches many times its price. it's a constant conversation starter with the engraved wave pattern that looks so much more three-dimensional than other wave pattern watches. I can't thank you enough Tissot, well done.
Just bought this watch and I am very pleased with the look. Great purchase and good value for the money. I bought the aqua coloured one just like in this video. Looks better in person.
Please make a Seastar in smaller size, between 39-41 mm. Maybe 42 even, but with a smaller lug to lug... Would buy one immediatly and I know I am not alone.
Don't buy this watch!! I'm so disappointed!! My Invicta (250$) is much better in every way!! In fact all of my watches is better an this 1000$ Tissot 😟 Bezel action is so bad, and it is now broken, bracelet feels cheap, and the lume is crap 😟 I saved my money long and hard to by a swiss made watch, I'm feeling so sad because of this. I bought a ocean X for just 340$ and I'm so impressed with it 😃 ceramic bezel insert, dome 4.5mm thick safir Crystal helium valve 1000m and a most fantastic lume and it last all night long 😃 nh35 automatic movement and a bracelet way better than the expensive watch.
I absolutely like the He valve on my Seamaster. I've had it for 20 years, and it's precise, beautiful and well, keeps the time. I can use it while under water, not only for mountaineering. I cannot see anything wrong with it. This new Tissot looks great. And big enough not to look like a girlie watch. And I want to say thankyou for making a good watch that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I think most watches are way too expensive these days. Snobs like the huge price jump that Omega made, but not those people that actually use the watch as a tool, not a decoration. Rolex is not my kind of watch. Small, feminine and too decorated. Suits my wife though. Does my wife like Rolex? No. She much prefers a small Omega Seamaster. Kind regards.
@@TISSOT Since we're at it, how about a version with brushed steel? I mean watching this video it looks awesome because it doesn't look nearly as shiny as it is in person. I had decided to buy it looking at this video and pics but went to see it in person in Zurich 2 day ago and it was just too shiny so I left for my month-long beach holidays without it. Too bad and it would've looked so good in the blue waters of Greece:)
Seeing a lot of the comments and I can only agree regarding the dimensions: please make a smaller version! I have a Seiko Prospex SPB143J1 and what I'm concerned those are perfect dimensions with its 41mm case and quite slim bezel. I'm also considering adding a Tissot Gentleman Powermatic 80 Silicium to the collection. I like the style and the movement, of course it's a little on the dressy side. The Seastar range is really nice, but I'm finding the bezel to be a bit comically large and the watch itself just a little too chunky. Maybe it's the covid pounds it needs to shed, put it on a diet! ;P
I have this exact same watch and I LOVE IT !!!! Thanks. I’m looking the get the 1000 in rose gold with rubber band next. PD: But I agree this watch in 43mm would fly, I do like slightly bigger watches and this one is pushing it.

people complaining about an extra 3mm. This is the only option over the 1000 imo. Also, try doing some twisted bicep curls it will add a few mm to your wrist ;)
It lets accumulated Helium escape the case if you are are a saturation diver, this happens if you spend time in a decompression chamber., Helium can pop the crystal out of the case, not good.
It looks very good, but you seem to have the same issue with this as you do the Seastar 1000: the clasp isn't good enough. To be clear, this definitely looks much better than the one on the 1000 (which let's down the whole watch), but this is the clasp that should have been on the 1000 to begin with. A watch labelled "Professional" should have a professional level clasp, with much more than three micro adjustments and a fold-out wetsuit extension.
Please Tissot please go back to the 42mm to 41mm the reason didn't purchase the tissot Seastar 1000 automatic 43mm that 1mm more just didn't look right compared to my tissot Seastar 1000 automatic 42mm 2014 model the Basel looks too chunky and weird on the 43mm tissot Seastar 1000 automatic other reason why I didn't get it. Please thinner bezel and 42mm or 41mm case do you guys agree ?
Higher quality clasp on the steel one is actually a very good point. The entire watch looks great but then the clasp just feels cheap, letting the entire watch down.
While this model is definitely on the large (possibly too large) size, I don't think the smaller Seastar 1000 (43mm) is too big. I know many people see 43mm and assume it will be overwhelmingly larger than a 40-41mm Diver, but because it has very short lugs it actually wears 1-2mm smaller than most 43mm dive watches. In fact, I've found it to wear only slightly bigger than the 40mm Tissot Gentleman. I definitly agree the clasps need an upgrade. The clasp on this Seastar 2000 Professional look much better than the one on the Seastar 1000, but only by the bare minimum, and definitely not good enough for a watch branded "Professional". Instead, I think this should be the clasp on the 1000, while a larger clasp with (at the very least) a fold-out wetsuit extension should be used on the 2000.
I really would buy that watch but the cheapest shit movement with plastic parts deterred me. The Tissot Gentleman is in the same price, but got a mutch better quality powermatic 80 movement variation with silicium parts. That is soo dissapointing😒
@@TISSOT I only ask such a large manufacturer to consider in the future, that it is not a good idea to put a two levels lower caliber variation in a watch with the same or a little higher price,(than Tissot Gentleman) because it will certainly not be liked by those who know about it....
Why didn't you use the same movement with 25 Jewels Silicium? Why using the less expensive movement with plastic (Hi-tech) parts which is utterly non repairable and non serviceable by no body but ETA? while you already released a Seastar 1000 with the more durable movement? (which is sold for less than the newer Seastar 1000's) why? why? and why again?
Very cool neo-retro design! However, this is way to big and heavy for me. I would love same design and level of finish but in quartz, 40mm, 20/30bar, lighter, thinner, cheaper, less text on dial. That would be a perfect diver :)
Honestly poor caliber, i would like a superior version with two barrels, some finishes in the caliber, why not inspired by the sea, and movement without plastic. I hope i have made a constructive criticism.

No if you are a man 46mm is the right one 🙂 smaller than that is for females
i agree, but i think the diameter isnt even the biggest problem here
16.15 mm thickness is extreme imo...

Best watch for the price! Many functions beat other high ends watches! I just bought one👍
It's amazing how Tissot can make a flat helium escape valve but big brother Omega has a huge pimple. This is truly one amazing Tissot.
Tissot prolly paid rolex royalty fee for using their flat helium valve design.. dats the reason omega stay away from it
It’s kinda an omega only symbol now
@@Joeyczhu true but it still looks so ugly, I love everything about the Seamaster except that odd He pimple.
@@Ray-gz4ut its funny how taste is so different. I think the valve makes the omega looks better.

46mm that’s a huge monster

Great look
Would love to see the watch in a smaller size.
Well said, its too massive.
2021-10-01 finally came to Taiwan! The praise continues! The price-performance ratio, the CP value is really great!
Perfect for me. People may complaint it for being big, but big is manly and manly is macho.
