  • Exercise motivation.
It’s fair to say that most people understand the value of daily exercise and how it positively affects our physical health and mental health. Despite the countless benefits, for so many of us, it’s hard to stay consistent in a fitness routine. Studies suggest that over 50% of people who make new years resolutions to exercise more, end up giving up on them in the first 6 weeks. How can we use psychology to help us stay motivated in the gym? Here are four tips to consider.

Completely unrelated to this video, but I absolutely admire the fact that you don't cut out parts of your videos when you mispronounce a word or stutter in the middle of a sentence. As an introvert who's extremely self conscious and feel embarrassed & humiliated when they stutter or mispronounce something, this means a lot to me. Thank you for that, Alexa.

Great Channel! I Personally feel that in order to stay motivated to workout we should acknowledge what is does to our mental health rather than the physical. I use workouts as a method of stress relief, so it has been easy for me to stay consistent. If we take our time and not go too hard on ourselves, especially our diets, i feel like this can make more people stay in the gym.

I don't enjoy exercise, and it doesn't make me feel good or better.
