The person who said toilet paper on canvas is not a "painting" is correct. This is ART and quite brilliant way of demonstating CREATIVE EXPRESSION. It's another method and less expensive way to create texture opposed to using modeling paste or spackle. As a beginner, this is much appreciated. Liked and subscribed❤

Exactly what I was wondering, how permanent is the tissue? Inexpensive used thrift store scarves might be an option for a fabric that’s Super lightweight. (Uh, u may not have heard that all caps are seen as shouting.)
Nice piece. I just want to suggest to make it easier on yourself I'm sure you don't have to shape the toilet paper as you lay it down. If you just lay it down flat, you should be able to shift it around and bunch it up easily enough and get the desired effect.
Hi, Not because on the inside of the toilet paper it is mixed with white glue and white acrylic, on the top it has white acrylic paint after drying gold acrylic was added. I've seen paintings over 20 years old that used cardboard and white paper using it for landscape texture. The important thing is that it has white glue and then the paper.

You're a fraud, like Jason Pollock. You're only an artist in your own little snot brain. You can come take art lessons from my 3 year old. She's better than you, she can actually PAINT.

He used PAINT in the process of getting the artistic results he wanted and I think it looks great!
