The way Sabrina Carpenter took advantage of the situation she has a hit song and widely watched video. The way Camila Cabello did it, it is a nice song but it has received limited airplay and the video is not nearly as big. They are both very smart and commercially oriented, so this is no accident. They are using their lives to entertain people in a comedic way (in the case of Carpenter) and make money while doing it.
