Jesus came from sourthern Misr with his mother Mary and they arrived in Galilee. Jesus was 30 yrs old then. He lived a life as a carpenter.
Then he heard John preaching by the river. Many people came to listen to John. Jesus went to see what was going on there.
After John was beheaded, Jesus continued the works of John. He learnt that the people in Galilee are believers but are lost in their beliefs. He had to find the source of their beliefs and found that the preists of the state were the culprits teaching Judaism. Jesus had to meet them and correct matters.
That was 2000 yrs ago.
Jesus will come a 2nd time, again from sourthern Misr, and arrive in Galilee and put an end to Judaism.
When I see Jesus I will fall prostate at his feet, I will be like Mary Magdalan, crawl to him & be so thankful to kiss his holy feet. I am a sinner, I have fallen way short. Yet, I have never committed adultery, purposely hurt another human being, &, I try to live a pure clean life, but when I sin, I sincerely repent with all my heart. I remember to love everyone, yet I still try to fight against evil everyday. Just remember that if you were the only person on earth during or even after our Lord's crucifixion, he would have gladly died for just you. Also remember Jesus's death was never like anyone else's, it was unique because he felt the pain physical & emotion of each & every sinner on earth present & future. I feel so ashamed & guilty because I know that some, of the pain he beared, he beared for me. Jesus, I'm not worthy to receive you, but say the word & I shall be healed. We are still living by his grace & his grace only, but remember the next time he comes, he will come in splendor & glory to judge the living & the dead

As a Christian and devout follower of our Lord Jesus Christ, I do not need to rely on ancient relics, the Turin shroud, so called holy sepulchres, etc in order to bolster my belief. My faith is whole and comes from God and does not require proofs and substantiating by material artefacts.
Belief in God is pure faith and the strength of that faith is imparted to us by God himself. Not through worshipping relics, statues of the virgin Mary et al. This is just another form of idolatry.
If you think about it logically - the temple needed to be destroyed (if not they would certainly have carried on sacrificing) The "sacrifice and rituals" had become their idol
