  • Bought an og blackmagic pocket cinema camera recently and had it with me on a hike with my family in the engadin.
Graded with Cineprint 16 in davinci resolve.
I'm happy with the 16mm film emulation but I don't think I'm 100% there, the red/orange tones are sometimes too saturated for me still.
filmed with the bmpcc and the Panasonic Lumix G Vario X 14-42mm F/3.5-5.6
Song: Livin' in the country by cowboy

Hey bro, what settings do you use in the cst part on davinci for the OG? I constantly struggle with saturated reds too if you’ve got any tips!

Yes, it's awesome! 👌 The red looks good, and it fits well, as it adds a nice touch, for it is an autumn color that goes with other earth tones. Also, we see very little red in this video, and it's just in several shots. It doesn't distract from the beauty of the natural surroundings, unless we let it.

thanks man! yeah I absolutely agree, I do like the cineprint 16 emulation but the saturation of the red tones is one weak point of it, since the making of this video I found a way to lower the saturation of the reds a bit and I think it looks much better now:) thanks for your feedback!
