I replaced the shocks and the washer still walked. Should’ve replaced the springs first. They’re cheaper. Followed exact instructions shown in the video. Just ran a load. Perfect. No walking, just spinning. I stood there with a big grin on my face.
Old springs allowed tub to sag at rest and flop around with load. I did shocks too.... shocks had lost the resistance to stop the tub from flopping...11 yr old machine... $100 in parts beats 899 for new machine
Can these get stretched out and cause excessive vibration in my washer? I went to do the shocks on the bottom but they all feel the same resistance as a new one. I can see some space bettween the coils in the springs.
