I actually don’t think that part is accurate here. Just before she fires, it’s very different. Listen to both and you’ll see what I mean
if u hear it closely arlecchino’s Part is basically the same theme used for Fontaine’s part in the tevyat pv but this one is the more spicier + way more mysterious AND IM HERE FOR ITTTT THANK YOU SO MUCH TNBEE FOR THIS AWESOME MASTERPIECE ❤️❤️❤️
My theory is that the bombastic music in the pv is just misdirection, a kinda lie. Like how lyney was explaining how magic is how you misdirect people and make them believe a lie with their own lies. In that sense, the bombastic flair of the music can be compared to a high-society lie. Kinda like when playing jazz vintage music at the end of the world. Its ironic in that sense that magic and lies are associated with a nation of justice---justice which is true, direct, and pure.
When the Fontaine theme comes in, its Arlecchino telling the audience the truth of magic and its false devices. In that sense, the Fontaine main theme represents a sinister, scary, and hidden truth that is too dangerous to know. In another sense, the Fontaine theme is like the shattering of immersion---as if you're not supposed to know that everything you've seen and heard was all a lie.
I think somewhat thehr fatui theme with the Fontaine leitmotif, which is interesting.

My dumbass thought that part was just the generic fatui theme and I was thinking "hm wonder when they're gonna kick out that one theme from Travail"
Only listening to this vid did I make the connection. If that theme is somehow actually just Arlecchinos theme, then god damn must she be pulling a lot of strings in that nation

The piano in the beginning and in the end just hits different. Genshin music has always been on point but whenever Yu-Peng Chen pulls out the piano, he NEVER misses.

Can't put into words how much I love it
this trailer feels so original, like, i looooooooooooove the musical elements that are kinda familiar (mainstream), but hoyo always gives a twist to their directions and I cannot EXPRESS how big of an effort this twist could lead to. they always go the lengths to achieve extra results. the depth is very much enjoyed
I hope that bit of music is a part of Arlecchino's boss theme (including the music box part after the snap)

Omg! I've been hoping you'd do a cover for this! The music in that teaser was just amazing and I can't wait to hear it myself once The Shimmering Voyage Volume 3 comes out later in August. And both this rendition of the music as well as the original version always remind me of SPY X FAMILY and its music. I always find it captivating whenever I listen to it!
