The clay is very soft, you need to work carefully. For moisture resistance and greater transparency, I coat my butterfly with UV resin.

UV LED mini lamp (very convenient and dries resin quickly).
I paint clay with pearlescent and metallic pigments. These are the same pigments that are used for manicure.
Microbeads: it is possible without it. But for a crystal effect, added.
The wire in the video is special floristic number 26 (≈ 0.6 mm).
I the easy method sculpt butterfly, as they do not need veins for maximum transparency. I used a stencil to sculpt this butterfly. Didn't use weiner and cutter. I attached butterfly using the easy method on a hairpin, it turned out a hair jewelry. The adornment is large enough (12.5 cm or 5 inches wide), perfect for evening hairstyles.
I wanted the jewelry to look like stained glass butterfly.
