He just led Mimic to the rest of the mafia. And Ango just completed his mission without Dazai and Oda. Does this also mean that Tachihara isn't in the black lizard, because he was sent to infiltrate the mafia after Ango's cover was blown? If so then that means that the black lizard squadron doesn't have two of its original commanders (Tachihara and Gin).
I'm actually no sure because maybe Ango still left the mafia, if he didn't I think Tachihara wouldn't be there, if he left it Tachihara would (Don't trust me that much , I barely remember all the points in the history that weren't super important)
I must admit, when I saw the title I was a bit worried considering that a lot of people making this AU wouldn’t think of each factor that that one piece in Dazais life would have an effect on. I’m extremely pleased with how you written the AU though because to my surprise, you did consider the consequences of removing a small detail. I really enjoyed this and in my opinion you wrote the AU perfectly!! Sorry for the rant I get carried away when I write but I do enjoy this video a lot

You did well with the au, how thing goes differently due to the fact that dazai is not suicidal here and mostly wouldn't even met mori/join the mafia and would have a now stable mental. You did it all and think of all the factors so well even their reaction like from chuuya and dazai, they're both on point

Unrelated, but I feel like he'd most likely just be completely cuckoo in this universe. bonkers!! not suicidal dazai could actually be such a horrid villain. yeah, he was already pretty messed up, but if he never met Oda nor Ango? well, no one would've stopped him from becoming an actual monster. For the sake of plot - I'd assume Mori would've still found him. On a side note; you did not need to remove his trauma. people can still have traumatic experience without being suicidal :3 He still could've turned out as a complete psycho, in fact, he was more than likely to do so. - And Oda is the only thing that influenced him. Oda single-handedly stopped Dazai from becoming a monster of an antagonist. in fact, if he hadn't, it would've been likely for Dazai to be the main 'villain' in the story. Even through abuse - and i'm not saying abuse means you can't be suicidal, i'm just saying not all cases of abuse turn out suicidal - he would've most likely became the main villain, had it not been for Oda AND Ango. you clarified that neither of them ever met Dazai in this version. Again, this is not hate. I just wanted to ramble abt smth :3
Sincerely, I didn't even think about this 😭 The idea just came from me listening to my Dazai playlist (full of angst btw) and imagining the ADA with a mentally sane Dazai watching how he is in another universe so I just did this for the sake of angst ✨ But thinking about it, we don't know why he's suicidal do we? So it really is up for interpretation what would happen for him to not be suicidal when we don't know the reason that we have to avoid in the first place. But I actually really like your take on the situation and think you're right about this! The kind of AU where Dazai is the villain is very interesting but that just wasn't what I wanted to get to with the video, not hating on you btw! You're right about your thinking
