He is scared of Dazai, and Dazai knows that, Dazai isn’t as scared of Mori anymore and now sees him as a piece of his chess game, sure he’s traumatized, but I doubt he cares much about it anymore. Besides kids are easy to manipulate, which is why most villains use kids for their plans, Fyodor and Dazai both did that, Fyodor using a kid to blow themself up for his plan, and Dazai using Akutugawa and probably even Atsushi.
