I'm going to have to get me a Honda fury now. I am a classic Honda owner and I've always loved the Honda's from the early to mid 80s and I've owned quite a few and currently on an 84 v65 Sabre but I've always loved the fury ever since they came out. What you did to your exhaust sounds amazing. It actually sounds like a throaty rumble and I like that.

I have got to get the same exhaust as yours now, definitely take the baffles OUT. Sounds way better now without the baffles!

    Leave the baffles out, dude.
    That Fury sounds Bad-ass now!

I cut my baffles in half then drilled 3 holes in the back plate. The sound is amazing and still provides a little back pressure, without being too loud.

man, they sounded good with the baffles, really sound great now. but me being honest, the best part was the first start off, and cruising by. sounded good, i just like looking at the Fury. Riding with Marshall YTuber was in Sturgis, you should see the Fury he found there. F----ng beautiful.

When doing this suggest a dialed in tuner
    Then upgrade your ham cams
Performance gains outstanding most v twins
    Even custom harleys need tuners
Once upgraded your air system, pipes and ham cams
    Rear hp gains
    Rear wheel 9.6
Dyno and more grunt low end torque
    The fury honda good motors
Have two built to snot vtx 1800s
    And one hog
    113 cubic incher
    1 piece crank
Turning 9,000 grand on a hog
    Gear driven cams
    Largest fuel system
    129 hp
    Nothing like japansese rockets
    But strong numbers
    Remeber
    No chain
Rolling it on in corners with longer bike
    And shaft drive
    Mild risks

Did you update your tuner mapping after you removed the baffles? Sounds great!

  • @agerbaek01

If you did that here, the first encounter with the police would cost you around 420 dollar, and double up next time they stop you, until your fine reaches 2800 dolar.
They are extremely strict around the mods on motorcycles. So no fun for you here in Denmark. :(
But i sounds awesome what you did

When installing did you have to remove the right foot peg? Also the black bracket that holds the pipes in place in the rear , could you use the factory one or did you have to remove the factory bracket and put in the Cobra bracket?

I took out the baffles in my stock pipes and got the same sound, saved a few bucks obviously but I like the air filter system on your bike mines a 2019 whats the site for that.

Any loss of low end torque with the baffles out? Did you do anything to richen the mixture to keep your motor from running lean? I run the same in-baffled pipes on my old ACE 750, and had to re-jet the carbs.

    • @EsotericRider
      @EsotericRider  2 роки тому +1

slight loss with a cold engine, but nothing extremely noticeable, could also be because the engine wasn't fully warmed up yet. in the clips of the take off, no, none at all. low and high end torque stayed the same. The FI2000r tuner with the pots set how i have them should keep everything in order, but i'm gonna do more trials to see if i can get rid of the fire balls and keep my MPG up.

@@EsotericRider Get a Dynojet Power Commander V #16-025 - or the newer one #fc16014. It'll turn into a whole new beast. (By comparison, that Cobra tuner is useless.)

  • @PainterD54

I did the same thing and found it just too loud and annoying (don't have to get noticed like some A-holes do) Infact I wrapped them with fiberglass packing before I out them back in. Now I have a nice deep rumble without the harsh crappy sound.

  • @LimitedGunnerGM

Honestly, sounds better with the baffles for me. I don’t care for the “popping” as much as a deep, mellow sound.

An ICE is basically an air pump. Removing restrictions and tuning accordingly is a GOOD idea.
