I just used this write-up in a 9x13” baking dish. Perfectly chewing and crunchy! Thanks 😊
I was just about to write❤ it down when I caught this comment.
Made it using 220g sugar instead of 350g, and it was actually perfect! My mum gave it 10/10, which is an achievement in itself! Thanks for sharing Chetna!
The cross section with all those almonds looks gooooorgeous, can't wait to make these
Hope you will enjoy them
Made this yesterday-it was amazing!! Chetna, I love the variety of recipes on your channel. I’ve lost track of how many I’ve tried (from your channel and from your Healthy Indian cookbook). I’m new to Indian food, but you make it so accessible.
Thank you so so much
This recipe is the perfect amount of decadent and simple. Such a stunner!
Love this @chetnamakan what size pan are you using please i need to make these today lol 😊😊
This looks fantastic and I can’t wait to try it. BONUS: using a binder clip to hold the parchment during baking was genius! I often struggle with getting parchment to stay in place as I’m pouring batter into the pan. I will absolutely use this for inspiration.
Oh my gosh, Chetna! You have out done yourself with these blondes of pure indulgence. Oh, wait! I just threw a batch with pistachios and cardamom powder in the oven. Cardamom is my weakness. 🥰. Thank you for bringing your beautiful soul to us and sharing all these recipes. Good thing I love to mountain bike or my clothes wouldn’t fit. lol
Personal trainer: "You can make energy bars at home for when you're on the go!"
Me: "I think I've found the *perfect recipe* ...."
Hahahaha

Those look like layers of Almond and Chocolate! Beautiful!
Thank you 😋
OH. YES. CHETNA. Blondies were one of the first things I made on my own as a girl-love them. Can’t wait to make these.
Absolutely delicious!
Oh my word! They look lush! Great explanation on some of the techniques like melting the butter which I confess may have worried me before seeing you do it. May i just check what size tin you used please?
these look amazing. But what size tin are you using for this quantity of blondies?
What size pan did you use?
Wow this looks gorgeous. I think that is Chetnas favourite word 🤣
And now every time I say that word I think of Chetna!!
OOOPs it might be!!!! ;)))
Or deliciousness :D
Food with Chetna u do use a lot of adjectives Chetna 😊💕
Thank you so much for uploading these videos !
Your recipes are just amazing
Thank you so much, glad you are enjoying my recipes
No wonder you went that far on great british bake off 😋 👌thank you for the content! love from Brazil!
Ah thanks
This looks amazing, can't wait to try this!! What brand of chocolate chips do you use?
What size tin do you use? Is that a 9x13 baking tin? Can't wait to make this!
Great recipe! I'm definitely going to keep this one for later. When I was a teenager, i won a contest with pecan blondies, but looking back, I'm sure they were no where as delicious as these look to be.
Blondie is the sister of the Brownie lol, you’re absolutely right, these look amazing!! I haven’t had one in eons.
Can you substitute the flaked almonds in the blonde for ground? These look amazing!
Loved your techniques since G B B S. So happy to find this resource and this recipe. Thanks for sharing your ideas and skills ! I think you are a true winner! in the ‘ real’ world bake-off. M
Wow Chetna! This looks so tasty. Definitely going to try it 😃. Just wondering if this recipe would be ok with pistachios instead of almonds?
Do you think a white chocolate/cranberries combination could work? I was also wondering with chocolate/coconut
What a scrumptuous blonde!! Thank you so much Chetna for this fab recipe. Just a quick question, where did you buy your chocolate buttons from? Thanks. xx
This is crazy good!! Will try adding a little extra-finely grated coconut next time.
Delicious 😙😚😚 recipe Chetna. Thanks a lot.
You are welcome
Looks totally delicious!
Yummy! Good with a cuppa tea!
Absolutely
These look delicious! Could you substitute flax seed egg for the egg?
Wondering if this recipe would bake well without the chocolate bits and almonds? I'm looking for a classic blondie recipe and the batter looks really good.... I've had two fails with too much moisture using two other recipes. Any help on this would be so greatly appreciated! They look wonderful as is....but wanting a plain version. Thank you!
there is only one way to find out..... try it
Greetings Chetna, from the Caribbean, sending many blessings to you and your family🙏🏻.
Thanks so much
Yummy great recipe looks great
It sure is a hit
I will be making these tomorrow, well done Chetna .
Wow def will be trying this one thanks Chetna from Australia
Ha, I wish I hadn’t brushed my teeth already! I'll just have to make these tomorrow!
Looks so damn delicious!!
Chetnik, So if I have ghee anyway I could just use that right??
I think having the browned milk solids left in makes a difference to both taste and texture when it comes to baking
HOW HOW. Could you leave that heaven on a plate for TWO HOURS no way..ha ha 2 minutes in my house xx
hahaha
Omg 🤤 cannot wait to make these!
Quick question - The almond you sprinkled on top of the blondies - were they extra to the 150g for the recipe?!?
Writing my shopping list now 😛 Thank you Chetna!
She says it's still 150g flaked almonds in total. A handful of almonds was left on the side for sprinkling on top.
WOW...
Thanks
The Butter needs to be just a little darker..
In Austria we call it 'Nuss-Butter', wich means Nut-Butter. Because of the color and nutty taste.
Yup
Can you just use ghee?
I made this for work. Absolute rave reviews from my colleagues!
Hi do we need to switch on all the elements top bottom and fan ?
Yes
Heavenly
It is soooooo good
Baked this today to watch #gbbo 🍰☕ Absolutely delicious 😋.
Yay! Thank you!

@@FoodwithChetna Thanks ^_^
I am So going to make this!
I hope you SO enjoy it
That is super gorgeous
Thanks so much
That looks delish!
My daughter and I watched it and salivated together- we also had a bet on at the end to see how many times you'd say 'stunning' but you didn't! 🙂
Supurb 😘 stay blessed always be a good friends 😘
Is there any replacement of eggs here in this?
Any substitute for eggs here?
I hope that is not a nonstick pan with the non stick coating worn off for making ghee!!
Oh yummy!
Thanks
Food with Chetna made them this afternoon together with the Brioche...great way to spend a Sunday afternoon! The cardamom is really subtle which is perfect and I think they would go well with a scoop of good vanilla ice cream. Thanks for being my baking buddy this afternoon 😃
😍 wow
Thanks
Such a cheeky tease you are!!! 😉
egg custards please chetna
👍🤗🧡
Love you ❤️
Should the middle be wet
Yes it is moist in the middle
@@FoodwithChetna so when u take in out from the oven the sides r leaving the pan n the middle is moist?
Brian P.
Chetna, I really think you should replace your Circulon saucepan, as a lot of the non-stick coating has worn off, leaving the untreated Aluminium exposed. I don't wish to be an alarmist, but cooking in untreated Aluminium pots has been connected to early onset Alzheimer's. My Mum had it, five years before she died, and six out eight of her saucepans looked like your Circulon pan (Some were worse). I wouldn't want learn of you (a Lovely Lady & great cook), contracting such a terrible disease in the future.
I agree.
My Mum in Laws saucepans 50 yrs ago had me concerned.
I bought her a new set. She was so pleased how beautiful they looked wouldn't use them. Had to remove old saucepans when she was at work. Was concerned she'd be upset, she was actually pleased as she was really keen to use them, just didn't want to spoil them. Years later they were still immaculate. She couldn't believe how well they looked as used every day.
My Father was an Engineer before retraining as a Teacher, it was he who made me aware of the dangers in aluminium. He became a Shop Steward in think Carron & Co, Camelon near Falkirk, Scotland, they made cookers of course using aluminium. All those years back, I was under 10, it was laughed at. He was quite correct to be concerned!
@@janetrodgers8473 it is not just the aluminium that is dangerous but the non stick Teflon coating as well
