5:05 - einem rein mechanischen Messgerät würde ich mehr vertrauen. Die Stelle würde ich aus dem Video schneiden oder bei Gelegenheit so filmen, dass es überzeugt. I would have more confidence in a purely mechanical measuring device. I would cut the spot out of the video or film it on occasion in such a way that it would be convincing.

Ich hätte nur gerne etwas mehr zur Ausrichtung der Säule gesehen. Für scheint das der schwierigste Teil zu sein. Erst einmessen, dann wieder abnehmen und mit Kleber wieder einsetzen. Da ziehe ich den Hut.
I've been looking at making a similar sized machine. Which drive components do you use? I've considered using siemens S210 or S120 which models are you using motors, servo amplifiers and external components and what do you use to send commands to the servo drives? which controll system Thank you! -Lukas
no disrespect, but no way that indicator is in microns? must be imperial? any test must show micron on that slide. must be imperial- 25micron or 1 thou " per unit there?

@@CNC-Technik-Mueller ich kenne das von anderen Herstellern. Bei der HURCO oder Pinnacle haben die einstellschrauben. Wenn die ketten mit der Zeit länger werden und zueinander nicht mehr passen, schaukelt sich das Gegengewicht auf. War auch keine Kritik an dich. Grüße

less than 0.000 micron on vertical. Nope. Rails are not even that consistent. Stack-up makes this vid questionable. Might be a good machine...but these values shown are not realistic.
I'm sure there's a bit of luck involved, I was surprised myself. But I promise you it really was like that. But that works with 10 tries, maybe 1x is normal, about 0.003mm inaccuracy
Still more Linear Guideways Junk ! Build a real machine. Learn how to scrape in ways. With all the available components, why not build it correctly? I'd rather have a 40yr old Burgmaster VTC330 with a Fanuc control/drives any day.
@@CNC-Technik-Mueller I keep seeing talented guys building what could be great little machines if they would quit using linear guideways instead of boxed ways. They setup the mounting frames and could easily add the box ways, rectangular and triangular. Then scrape into accuracy without any flex or distortion. Look at the larger machines and you'll see.

I mean, this thing is a monster with several tons and it runs straight to the touch. you saw the indicator? This was with everything mounted, driven by the servos. I guess, he's good.

Die Kosten für eine solche Maschine sind kaum zu beziffern. Man bewegt sich hier ungefähr im niedrigen sechsstelligen Bereich. Die Kosten variieren aber um die Faktoren 2-10(!) je nach Anforderungen an die Genauigkeit und die daher verwendeten Komponenten und Fertigungsverfahren. Auch ist es sehr davon abhängig welche Fertigungsmöglichkeiten man In-house hat. Kurzum: es wird kaum eine Privatperson geben, welche sich eine Maschine in dieser Größenordnung bauen kann oder möchte. Dort ist man mit einer Gebrauchtmaschine meist deutlich besser bedient.
Einfach herrlich anzuschauen! Ich habe quasi parallel mit deiner Maschine angefangen selber eine wesentlich kleiner CNC Fräsmaschine zu bauen - deine Maschinen waren definitiv eine Motivation dafür! Vielleicht gefällt sie dir ja :)

My machine is 1/4 the size of yours, so if it works for this, it will work for mine. When rails are assembled .will there are differences in thermal expansions ratio.
How much NM(newton force) / Kw of a spindle power as minimum required for steel milling process ?

So etwas passiert wenn man sein Hobby zum Beruf macht. Ich verdiene mit der Fertigung kleinerer Maschinen aus Mineralguss meine Brötchen.

At 5:52 you can see devices with adjusting screws on the feet of the column. This is on the left and right of the pillar
I can see, thanks, that means only total of 6 bolts are for adjusting whole column?
