Our neighbor's cat started waiting for my daughter to get off the bus. Then we started feeding him and soon after it started knocking on our front door two or three times a day to let us know he wants kibble and treats. Sometimes he starts knocking at 6am. We call him Salmon. He's so sweet .

When I was a kid we lived in a house for a bit where the neighbours cat would do this. I was home alone when it happened the first time. Heard the frantic knocking and looked out the peep hole to see nothing. Terrified. After a few knocks I finally got the courage to sneak out the back door and around the front only to see a cat sitting there, then it started knocking again. No one believed me when I told them... One day my dad went rushing to open the door thinking one of us got locked out, but it was just the cat. It wandered in like it owned the place haha.

Chubster doesn't look like it skips any meals, snacks, desserts or leg days. Might cheat on abs, tho. So, maybe just a little spoiled. Gets what it wants without throwing tantrums.

I'm surprised he didn't yell to hurry up. My cat can see me and he still yells for me to hurry.
@@marcusaurelius5149 I feel you, I can see mine talking to me when she sits in the window when I get home, and if I don't seem to be moving towards the kitchen to grab the crunchies she starts talking more n' more until I do, then its the happy trills as she runs to the spot lol This guy though all the patience

And he knows if it's someone he's familiar with too... his lil ears prick up when someone is at the door... but if it's someone he doesn't know he will stand up and do this little.growl thing almost like a dog!! Scared me half to death the first time he did that 🤣 so clever 💕

That's the red , orange cats ,and tabbies are smart too... I know calicos as well. Also I had several black and white cats that were really cool. Not all cats are smart.

Ah, remembering my childhood cat... I hung a bell off a string on my bedroom door handle so she could let me know when she wanted to go in or out. I only had to show her once and she got it. Then I lost it and found it years later and she still remembered how to use it, lol. She was a smart girl.

By the looks of that door that cat has tried many ways and found out this was the best way to get that door to open.
People think he’s being patient but cats have amazing hearing. He could hear the human fetching his food and coming to the door. If he didn’t hear the appropriate action, he’d have kicked that door again, harder☺️ When I come home, at any time, all my my cats have met me at the door 🥰
I agree, I saw his head bobbing as he definitely heard the sound of footsteps inside but he was still incredibly patient and didn't meow to complain about waiting so long.

This is so cute. Cats are so smart. We screened in our front porch for my house cat, Dallas. When he wants out/in he uses his front paws on our glass door like a bicycle and it’s loud, it gets your attention. It’s ok because he’s worth it. He is such a sweet Kitty. I say that, and my cat just woke me my jump on and off my head until I got up. LOVE CATS 💕
