This is so amazing, I think this podcast has the potential to inspire and teach a lot of parents in need. I'm not even a parent, but I still think learning about the experiences of other people is incredibly helpful. For example, I loved the concept of non-negotiables. Such a refleshing way of looking at the things we need do for ourselves.
This is great, thanks a lot for making this! Hearing how other people think can be hard (a little ashamed to say that but it is what it is) but it's extremely helpful and I really appreciate y'all taking the time to talk about important stuff and discussing big topics like this.
I'm not a parent, just a 25yrs old woman in college, but I loved this episode. And I loved seeing you Kruti! It would've been fun to see the memes (showing them to the camera). Love and thank you ❤
I loved this conversation. The atmosphere, the vibe, the tone of it... Amazing! But, please, guys, links in the dooblydoo. She has a youtube channel, or her website or something.
Awesome interview, both of you :) The emphasis you put on protecting workflow and attention is extremly validating. I always felt awful when I am being pulled away from something I am doing and beinf unable to pick it right up again, but my feelings on the matter have always been minimized by others. It felt like I was weak and broken for being unable to keep my focus despite being interrupted all the time, but now I'm starting to think that it's _not_ "just me", and I need to better protect that momentum I build up.
Great conversation, just echoing a reply I made about some audio issues: I can hear Kati's voice doubled a little bit before, after and while Kruti talks because both mics are picking her voice up. It seems there's an issue with the noise gate threshold for each mic.
There is some valid critiques tbh, I can hear Kati's voice doubled a little bit before and while Kruti talks because both mics are picking her voice up. It seems there's an issue with the noise gate threshold and it's been edited to silence each person's audio between their speech but otherwise keep the raw recording, including audio crossover from the other person's voice
ooof, as someone who was a teen who had all the blame put on me by my parent, some of this information sounds like that my mom's narcissistic behavior was appropriate and should be allowed to be done to teens.
Hello, I'm very new to this channel. Have you touched on parental burnout? I have two young kids (4 and 2) with no support system other than my husband and I'm finding parenting extremely hard.
Kati Morton and Dr. K are the ones I've learned the most about mental health from over the years.
Kati Morgan got me through a decade plus of trauma related emotional turbulence . This convo is gold. ❤

Thanks so much for this video! 🙏 I really enjoyed this. ❤ I couldn't see the memes at the end though. I wanted to see them. 😂

Great talk, you both covered so many important topics. Would love to see a part 2!
It's nice to see these topics brought up and talked about. Great video :)
Great conversation! I would like more of this please.
Agree, long awaited collab! A fan of you both!

Non-negotiable > self-care for working parents! It’s a must have not a nice to have 💪🏽
Great episode!👏

love morton's videos
Content is good and the audio is okay. Coming from other channels it feels more muffled and quieter. Alok has a more open audio
I needed to hear this one today.
But why are there SO many commercials?!
Love this and this channel but please work on the audio!
What’s wrong with it, it’s great. There’s always someone to complain about something, wow

Will do! It can be all-consuming. Kati talks a bit in this episode on building your support, would recommend listening through.
