  • The Arc Minnesota is a statewide nonprofit organization working to co-create a welcoming world. We envision a world where all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are valued, respected, and thriving. Alongside disabled leaders, we fight against isolation, segregation, and poverty. We engage in individual advocacy, systems change, and social change, to ensure all people have access, belonging, and justice.
People with disabilities and their families trust The Arc Minnesota for information, assistance, education, and public policy leadership. Disabilities may include autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, fragile X, Williams syndrome, and other disabilities.
Since the first gathering of concerned parents in Minneapolis in 1946, the structure and name of The Arc in Minnesota has changed, but our fierce commitment to improving the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families has not. Visit our website for more information on The Arc Minnesota's programs and services.
