I know you do great work Clint, but HodgePodging that truck together with all that strange stuff WILL NOT BE LONG TERM RELIABLE.
How do you figure that?
In my mind hodgepodges doing it backyard without all of the equipment these gentlemen have to do it right.
It seems like a respectable amount of thought and then planning went into all of this with each and every step.
Any deficiencies or problems that will present in the future were dealt with expanding on the brackets and installing the gussets for extra strength and durability will last a lifetime
People do it all the time. All the components being used are known to be reliable. Will things fail yes as things do but I doubt it will have anything to do with custom work
What's Your Problem? And for father/son bonding. That will last forever! If your feeling jealous just say nothing.
Just because its strange to you, doesn't mean its strange to everyone. This has all been done before, and on top of that, a lot of what they are using is Ford parts....
That kid is one awesome welder! They should be so proud to have a dad that helps them build such awesome vehicles to drive. Just the memories alone to be able to look back on is priceless!
I have been laughing so hard. 'Do you lift ?' Clint trolling the boys is priceless ! Attention to the details is the mark of a good mechanic.
1st. Love Kevins whitney rendition. 2nd. Awesome watching how talented your boys are! You better be paying them well 😂. And. 3rd. Very impressed watching you guys tackle this conversion in the first place. Worth watching every minute. Won’t find this job be done anywhere else!
Kevin should Audition for American Idol!! 😊
@@EyesOnlyTeam86 almost sounded like he might be able to carry a tune. 🤷♂️
Yep , that's a badass truck 🚛
You can do awesome stuff when your dad has great tools.
@@leroysperr6127 And the check book 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Tucker the beads on your welds look great. You'll never forget the day that you rebuilt this truck. God Bless You and the memories you are making.
your kids should be very thankful they have a dad like you ... not only are you very knowledgeable, you do things safe and the right way.. great kids come from great teachers well done!!!!
Hope your kids appreciate the experience they are getting. He welds better than I can already.
You guys are going in deep on this one. Good to see Tucker smile.
Can’t wait till Tuesday to see the results have a great weekend everyone.
Awesome video sir I’m loving it, and I don’t know if that boy realizes it or not but he’s a dang good welder and fabricator I’m 52 years old and have never been anywhere close to the level that he is
You got that Right
Your knowledge of trucks and machines are awesome. I learn so much from your videos.
As an 80 year old man, I am learning bunches about the modern marvels of mechanics, great job
I just can't get over how clean that truck is!!👍
I love how you work with your boys! I only had a daughter but I do have 3 grandsons that I'm going to show them how to work on cars and welding and so on! I learned those skills early because my dad showed me now almost 57 yrs old and I enjoyed every min with my dad! Today we still work on them together!! Kudos for teaching your boys some great skills that will guarantee them great jobs without having to spend a fortune for almost a useless degree!!
Tucker, welding has become e a lost art my friend. Glad your father has given you the means to keep it going. Excellent work everywhere. Gonna make some great money one day!! Keep at it.
Glad that the engine cradle cross member wasn't too much of an obstacle. It's been a fair minute since I've been a part of converting a 2wd to 4wd. What I do remember about it was having to change the cradle cross member to one that was from a similar model 4wd and then oil pan as well since the old unit didn't have a bump in where it needed to be.
While we had the room, did a dual remote oil filter setup to make changes less a matter of being elbow deep into the underside of the engine bay right next to hot exhaust. more of a pop the drain plug out, stand up and do two filters on the firewall.
It was on a square body 1978 crew cab. Buddy Brian's dad's truck that he'd got auction bought in 1989 but let it sit at the edge of a field for the next 5 years until he had time to work on it. It was more, money to do what I want to do without the wife interfering. But it was fun and one more memory for the vault of days gone by.
To help out with finding the engine weight compressing the springs, heavy canvas sand bags. Stack them on the front frame pieces to about the engine, trans and transfer case. That way you can more easily see just how much will be needed for either a leveling or getting a little forward rake angle. Sand bags because it's easier to move those than try to bolt and unbolt the engine you're going to be using.
Great watching you guys working together. Seems like Tucker is a man of few words
Doing great job guys ❤❤❤
I'm a Ford guy but in my area I probably see 20 1990's OBS Chevy's for every 1 90's OBS Ford.
Their pay is having their Dad teaching & loving them! They will look back years later and realize how lucky they were to have a Dad like you!!
That truck is going to be awesome. You're living the dream, guys. What a fun project. 😁
This is every day of their lives.
While both boys seem real appreciative of what they are a part of I don't know if they realize just how exceptional it is.
I think its gonna be another awesome truck. Great job fellas. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
you guys make it look so easy.nice job everyone.those welds look sweet.
Really enjoy the series. I think Tucker and Hunter are doing really well and what a great work ethic. I love the idea of a one of a kind truck. Thanks for sharing the fun and knowledge with all of us.
Tucker has a big smile at the end! Wonderful seeing both boys working with dad. Keep these videos coming. 👍
Nice to see that boy smiling.
You are an awesome father for teaching the boys and having them do it even though you could do it yourself quicker.
This is such a cool project. The truck is going to be awesome, but the best part is watching a good dad teach his kids!!
Can't wait to see it running Clint , Love those videos with your Kids Love thems how you teach thems .
Clinton You Sir are giving them Young Men a Leg Up in Life, it’s Obvious they are Not far off the Tree. That’s a Compliment in this Particular Situation 😂. I Love what you do & what you have Built, would Love to Visit your Part of ‘Merica from South Central Pennsylvania.
This is gonna be a stump puller beast when it's done. Good choice going to the Cummins 6BT. I retired from a Cummins Distributor in Industrial Engine sales and application . I have no idea how many B-Series engines I sold to manufacture and irrigation applications - hundreds if not thousands. Pound for pound I don't know you can buy a better engine in it's HP range in either automotive or industrial applications. Adjust the valves and change the oil and filters, they'll run forever.
Kevin's front bumper has the option that tilts it so there is more downforce above 150 mph.
Good....Smart...Boyz.
You're very blessed Clint.
As a Dad you seem so patient and a great teacher to your employees, I appreciate seeing young men learn a trade too. Tucker SMILE more bro it wont kill ya lol
I took all my large utility trucks going to Alaska to Tulsa Truck in Tulsa Oklahoma and changed them into 4X4 positive track trucks. They loved them so much I was always had one or two being built so I could ship them on the barge it upper Alaska. When their utility lines went down they had to have trucks that would go in the snow. I always put a used rebuilt digger derricks and bucket trucks to keep the prices down plus it pissed off new sales department. They finally let me handle new 4X4 builds for the company because they knew nothing about converting a truck with different options to go into that rough country and it had to be right.
I think Clint is in to the builds more than everyone else is.
That is some very good fab work.
Very nice build, and it will be a one of a kind. Definitely a keeper.
Man that is gonna be one gorgeous truck. All it needs is a couple of airhorns
You are a talented guy Clint. So is Kevin, I never knew how good he could sing! You're boys are learning from the best.
I think we all should ask Clint to bring in the Elcamino and do some C&C magic on it as compensation to Kevin for the distruction of the Shorty truck.
Nice singing Kevin 👌 not a note in him but nice try but anyway another great video guys killing it just lately that bumper would go great on the hellflowmenco sorry Kevin 😂
I really enjoy when you are working with your sons. It's great that you are passing knowledge onto them. I did that with my three sons, and it paid off well. All my boys are doing well in life, just like yours will.👍
Lots, lots of laughs and fun, plus very hard work! Great job to all of you!😊
Looking great. I doubt that Ford engineers could come up with a modification like this. Can’t wait to see the next video on this one of a kind build.
hi ive said it before and i will say it again Clint your knowledge is first rate super informative thanks for sharing boss 👍👍👍
And the super build continues great video thanks Clint and Kevin and Tucker and Hunter
The stance is great. That thing look awesome.
Fantastic series, that's a great working environment to have some fun working on trucks!
When you lift a truck, children, you change EVERYTHING. Driveline, shock length, shaft length and angle, brake line length, bump stop lengths... I did a few lifts in my day and watching all y'all working together made me teary! OH, that was because of Kevin's singing Whitney Houston rendition and giving me an earworm all day now!!
Tucker does some fine welding, the truck is looking good. Thanks for the video update.
Tucker just walks the walk. Crazy skills for a young man. Then again your whole team is top drawer.
Great video thanks for sharing keep warm during this cold weather ahead my power just went out thanks to the windy weather hopefully it will be fixed before the temperature bottoms out thanks for sharing
Wow!!! That is one beautiful build!!!!!!
Why is it every time we see Tucker on video, he looks like he just woke up?😂😂(I’m just funni’n)
Off with the red Grandpa running boards, Tucker. 😉
Every days a school day with the C & C crew. Thanks for posting. 🇬🇧👍👍
Tuckers' welding is fantastic!
Awesome work guys! (as always) The guys are so lucky to be working in a workshop like that. I would have loved to work in an environment like that during my working life. Keep the great videos coming.
They are working hard to make it all work. Nice job on the placement of the brackets for the axle. It's going to be one nice truck.
Your one great dad working with your sons on projects. Your sons are very fortunate. Love your channel. Keep sharing. Thanks eli
Clint your boys are getting a great education thanks to you! Way better than any type of school could do!
Whoaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At the very beginning of this video, I could not tell whether Kevin was just having a W Houston meltdown or a gastrointestinal issue. Then again maybe C and C Equipment was doing some sort of casting call for a vocal talent behind the scenes. Whatever the case may be, Kevin certainly appears to have a very healthy set of lungs!
Why did the singer bring a ladder to the concert? They wanted to reach the high notes!
I really like the way you let the kids explore solutions!!
You have an incredible shop, not much you can't build. I really enjoy the builds you do.
Snap On welders are made by CK Systematics. CK Systematics makes welders for industrial manufacturers and build Snap On's line exclusively so you cannot purchase these welders from anyone but Snap On. They do have 100% duty cycle with the muscle mig you can weld up to 50ft from your plug with no extra cables or adapters.
Love those old fords, I had 4 in my life superb choice in motor
Great looking Cowboy Cadillac. Keep em' coming
Clint your a awesome dad your boys are willing to take on any challenge you throw at them they are the making of great young men
You just never know what Kevin is gonna do. That's awesome. I think you could do a how to on raising tough children. I did see smiles from Tucker. And Hunter may be able to help him get into lifting. After he spins that tire one more time!
Great job and it will be super reliable
We need Kevin’s Whitney Houston vocals on the opening credits of every new video 😂😂😂❤❤❤
🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Great video series. Neat that you all work so well together. 💪👍🏼
Awesome bunch of work C & C crew.
Big Daddy Clint is really spoiling his boy helping out on this project throwing in his decades of experience and knowledge.
Tuckers truck is definitely gonna be a beast of a Ford.
On the road long after a similar Chovey would be.
I’ve had my Snap On MM 250 welder for close to 20 years. It’s been great to me. I have the tig attachment and the spool gun. It’s a really versatile set up.
Another great video. That Ford is a really nice looking truck
Clint ,you are a lucky man to have the privelage and opportunity to mentor your young men and what a fine job you are doing.
Really looking forward to see how this beast turns out! Always great content with you guys and hopefully I can make a visit to the shop sometime this year. Cheers guys!
Truck is coming along very nice!!
A great video guys with some cool fabricating in there. Look forward to see the engine go in. Special K being special again too. Safe travels. Ken.
As a chevy guy and not overly a ford hater; that is one smart lookin pick up there. Looks good guys and thanks for sharing.
Nice teamwork thanks for sharing 😮
That truck is supper clean!!!!
Fine fab work. Amazing, y’all make a tough job look easy
Like the tubular brace and gussets on the front xmember. Very solid.
I really enjoy the effort you put forth to teach your sons! 😅
Great video! Great kids! Great jobs! Thanks for sharing! 👌👍
Tucker is a natural welder. Awesome job
I will always have a soft spot in my head... er, heart for OBS Fords. I drove a '92 F150 176k miles including back and forth from Georgia to Alaska *twice* after converting it to 4wd. I have to say the swap from 2wd to 4wd was quite a bit more straightforward for the F150s (100% bolt in) than what you guys did on the F350, but a well equipped shop and many capable hands make light work.
Bet when Mrs C&C watches this she'll have a big lump in her throat seeing her three boys playing nicely together. Brilliant job, is going to be a great truck when its completed. 👍
Thanks for sharing guys great project 🦘
Truck is coming along nicely.
Great job Tucker and Hunter
I love that year of pickups all of them❤
This is an amazing truck.
Great fab work and installation have a great weekend 👍🏻🇺🇲
I've had a snapon 350 for about 8 years its never failed
Me. I did buy the longer lead i believe its 14 ' . I run 045 wire Its a beast. I love the fact you can pull the box off and get 20 more feet outta it. Love your videos keep up the good work
Centurion Trucks! Some of the best Ford trucks of the 1980's
Awesome Builds.
Keep it up Tucker, it will absolutely be worth it!🤙
Nice job as always 👍
Great video that is going to be a nice truck when everything is finished
