Am I the only one noticing how the B2-battledroids (super battledroids) gun down their own troops to get ahead of them? And they wonder why the clones are winning...
They Gun Down their own allies if they are getting in the way. The Battle Droid on geonosis that got hit by its b2 cousin was injured and had a blaster bolt in its chest. So i guess the B2 thought that the droid was no further use. So sad. :(
While true, the prequels could not measure up to the originals in plot and some of the acting, the battles in II and III kicked the shit out of just about anything in the first movies.
+Michelle Stone the glorious imperium of man would wipe these weak foes out of the way! we will crush them with our mighty battlefleets, burn their planets. Grind them to dust under the treads of our might battletanks and drown them in the pools of blood from the guardsmen who sacrifice themselves to fight them. The Imperium would roll over the factions in Star Wars without breaking a sweat.
Jay Michaelson Yes but you gotta realise these are elite regiments that most worlds rarely see. The imperial guard is the sledgehammer of the imperium and do most of the fighting in the galaxy

actually there are alot of books after the 6th movie. The empire wasnt destroyed, it clung on and even repaired itself at times. The admiral thrawn trilogy is one such "repair" FOR THE EMPIRE
the empire will always be my favourite evil side, 2nd being separitists and 3rd being the covenant. the best part is the empire lasts 100 of years after yavin, taking major part in the legacy era of the star wars universe besides the civil war era too.
God, I loved the Commando game. I have to buy that again sometime. But I agree with you completely. The movies and such showed the Supers as weak as the regular battle droids. In commandos, you needed to evaluate your situation and think of a plan or make sure your big guns had ammo.

You chose the BEST Battle Scene in Star Wars for one of the BEST of Sabaton's Songs. Shame the Clones never had any real tactical movement or cover awareness, more would of survived if they did!
It's possible. The most dangerous part is the story, I think. But even if they fail in this part and write a silly story, we can be sure, that the effects, pictures and atmosphere will be awesome. And fantastic looking star wars spacebattles can't be bad.

Well, the C.I.S wasn't prepared on a giant army of the Republic with advanced technology then their own. The Republic had now too endless soldiers, just that their soldiers was trained better and had an own mind.
I loved the look of the clones in Attack of the Clones, I was kinda disappointed when they changed it in Revenge of the Sith :( But whatever, Sabaton + clones from Attack of the Clones = epic beyond measure :) Great vid ;)

With armies this large and visibility this low they aren't really aiming at anything. They are just shooting forward.
Battle droids were basically cannon fodder.
