If you listen to this and compare it to 'The Beast and Dragon Adored' on their Gimme Fiction album from 2005,
you'll notice that the instrumentation has significant similarity to it.
But don't get me wrong, the fact that the creators of the video worked hard to make the video interesting to watch is real dedication.
Definitely a work of art.
@@PsychoYajko It definitely sounds recognizably Spoon, but I think the rock-with-less-guitars approach and jazz tinges are all pretty unique. It's not the most experimental thing off Hot Thoughts but it is definitely from that album more than other Spoon albums

I recently saw them at revolution live in Ft. Lauderdale! By far my favorite concert! The chemistry between the crowd and band was unreal... came up twice for encore and rocked the entire place!!!

Spoon have been one of the most consistently good bands for like the past twenty years, just always good music. I come back to this music video probably once a year and it still rocks. One of their best songs

Agree 100%. There are only a couple coming out now that are really good. If you dig this check out a band called Weird Owl. They are from New York city and they are awesome. Their first one is called Nuclear Pyscology. This is awesome too though for sure!!!!

totally different aesthetics between the two artists. Beck is quirky and fun but Spoon(mostly Daniels) has a completely a totally different idealogy when it comes to composition

As an old guy (60), who saw Zeppelin in the 70’s , I have a tough time finding new music I like. Spoon is pretty awesome though. Any recommendations for other bands like them?
