EDIT: I mentioned Rexlent in the video a few times and kinda contradicted myself a bit. I personally just don't want to start drama with Rexlent because at the end of the day I do respect him. Just know that none of the events are Rexlents fault... everything is a result to my actions so please don't take it as me trying to dig at him.

A large sect of the PGR community is honestly toxic. They give me the same vibes as the Soulsborne community, always berating people for not playing the game "the right way". Look at the way how they've been with Kai Cenat for his Elden Ring playthrough, even though he achieved something not many people could honestly do. Just because it's more of a skill based game, that does not give you the right to constantly dictate how to play it. Those people suck.
Honestly true not everyone can be as skilled as rexlent and blanc pgr is a hard game to play this is one of the reasons why it's a niche game

@@ReyhmarA large sect doesn't necessarily mean majority, just a sizable amount. I've seen it in the PGR discord so many times. Someone asks a question, and they get multiple replies that's akin to "lol noob". I don't interact with the discord anymore for that very reason. Maybe it's better now hopefully. They may not be the majority, but they're vocal enough to create waves.
It's genuinely crazy how irritating backseat gaming can become haha. Especially when you want to learn the game rather than be told how to play it.

Yeah, I did the same thing with Stellar Blade and I had fun even though I died plenty of times from the environment as well as groups of enemies attacking me at the same time.

I've heard you speak on this multiple times, and I've constantly seen you take responsibility for your actions and want to do things the right way now. One thing I'm seeing with these gacha companies is if you're blacklisted, it's almost impossible to get off that list, which is unfortunate. Hopefully one day you'll be able to bridge that gap once again in a much better, organic time that works for both parties. Much love.

Ey i do not know how history or experience you have gone through but you have my support and yeah it'll be great to be as you like to do to enjoy the game. I'm ngl I am still a bit peeved off how you let your mod mute me and took his side without even hearing what I had to say and just said straight up " You don't care what happened you dont wanna deal with it just let it go or immah have to ban you" so part of what the community said in some regards to how you act towards people is partly true because your mod was letting others backseat and didn't say a word but the minute I said one thing he was on me about it.

"Watch a rexlent guide" sure, it helps me, I like watching as to not mess up a build, I do watch him to learn THE CHARACTER aswell, but the more I play everyday, the easier ir gets to LEARN to play the gane itself, so when ppl tell you shit about watching rexlent, SOME are trying to help lol NOT ALL
Some expect a lot, not everyone has the same learning curve, also some characters play completely different from each other so it can be hard to remember every single characters playstyles, but again, when u play everyday, things will get easier brother, just got to find your groove, the more you stream PGR or WuWa the more likly people will leave or stay, you'll end up with ppl you want on stream

I'm the same way. I am slow at learning some games to some point were it will feel like I build one character and all my stats are good, but then realize that I'm not doing something right to get the results I needed so I listen to people for help, but if they tell me which character that I should be using instead even tho I have the character, I would not want to use them them. Like you said, you want to play the game you want to play it and not how someone want you to play the game. Other wise is will not be fun
Rexlent is a very level headed person and i think he would not harbor any ill feeling since this more of a misunderstanding more than anything, Rexlent is not just a good player, he puts A LOT of work and hours to make his perfect run videos, just stay positive, advise is not criticism, and make your content, there is no bad feelings i think, nothing really major happened here.

Hei Cha0tic. I never cared about the drama in the communities I'm in. Usually, I never know about them, for example, this is the first time I'm reading about this. Usually, I take what I like, the info I'm looking for, and leave whatever I'm not interested in. In this case your access and knowledge of the gacha scene. It is thanks to you that I play the games I play, without you I would not know about some of them and that would be a shame.
I always loved your take on things, your enthusiasm, and your honesty, and this is a clear example of that.
Though I really appreciate what you are trying to do here, because this shows your character, you are very much entitled to do things in your own way. You don't have to follow guides or tier lists to play the games you love. Like you, I'm very much a hands-on type of guy. I only use guides for Arknights because I do not have all the ops to choose from and experiment with, and I do not have the time to do the experimenting. I tried to use guides for other games too but it ended badly and I just quit doing that. I learn as I feel and taste things for myself.
I might not see your live playthroughs but at the end of the day, I still love your channel. So if you want to, just keep doing what you love.

So I play games a fair amount but you'll never see me play live on stream because I like to mill around, look under every rock and mess up as much as I want to mess up and learn at my own pace. On the Jinhsi revealed video- I honestly think it was because of the explicit "Genshin =VS= Wuthering Waves" that set people off. We all know WuWa is a Genshin competitor, so in that sense it IS a "1 v 1" issue, but making it explicit is what caused the problem. I get where you're coming from, and I largely agree with you, you didn't deserve that much heat. I'm just explaining what I think happened.
That's the viewer,s problem. At what point are viewers the blame. The obvious take would of been quite literally a comparison between the games. The only conceivable way that you could take it as hate towards one game or the other is if you came into the video with emotion already. As a CC you have to unfortunately accept that you will get unhinged ppl and there is nothing you can do about it.

I dont comment too much because im someone that generaly just likes to sit back and watch what i like, and i know you said not to feel bad cause thats not the point of this. But i cant help but feel this whole thing kinda sucks, i sincerely hope explaining things clears the air and helps the situation. I feel like for content creators specifically people should be able to just be people without having to walk on egg shells and not do this or that without major repercussions...but i guess thats corporate, probably why im not a business man.

I can understand about the back seat gaming, being told isn't as fun as figuring it out and if you are having fun it's not playing wrong. I use units I like not that are the best, and if I struggle so be it.
And about the blacklist, no judgement on Kuro but it might be for the best, more and more studios are trying to prevent sponsored CC from actually saying how they feel, so this way you and we can be confident this is 100% how you feel about the game.

Showing new character is a genshin thing ah, while we already know what we will get in PGR ( Global ) for a whole year including everything in those new patches from events to rewards and characters. I feel genshin took it from PGR. Tho I think this is not a new fresh concept and was used before for something else.

In my humble opinion, watching this video without knowing this whole situation previously: make better titles for your videos instead of something that could create friction or look like just another UA-camr trying to gain views. If your intention was to talk about how Whutering Waves' marketing was using a formula created by someone else, it would have been much more interesting for you to talk about that formula as content within the video rather than creating a silly someone vs someone title.
You are talking about learning and improving, but these details also need to be improved. The first thing they will see of your video is the image and title; and you're on the internet where people won't run after information, they'll work with what's easiest to see and use that as a way to attack, even incorrectly.
That part where you say that you don't care how people think anymore is immature, it's a bit cringe. It's important that you care, but more important is that you know who to engage with. And this is another point that I took away from watching and reading about this situation: Stop engaging with people who are attacking you without watching your video, you are only promoting their image and giving ammunition for their toxicity. It's understandable that you want to vent about these things, but there are better ways to do it, it's much better to be neutral and not get involved, after all this will resolve itself.
Anyway, I don't know why I felt like writing because I'm not a person who interacts a lot with UA-cam, but I'm subscribed to your channel and I felt like leaving my opinion, even though you don't care.

Lesson learned
Nobody these days understand that learning a game by yourself is part of the fun, maybe the biggest part of the fun. If you just blindly copy builds and game strats from someone else, you didn't beat the game and you only turned something fun into a time-consuming chore. You then find yourself unfulfilled because deep down you know you didn't beat the game and you start bullying other people when you find them doing what you should have done.

Re: The first part. Content creators are not puppets on a stage that the audience gets to control. They are real people who have every right to play games how they want to play them and it's gross and parasocial for viewers to think that creators owe them anything, including reciprocating their views and playstyles. Full stop. Some creators like to interact with their audience like that, but its not an expectation for all creators. There should never be a reason to apologize for telling someone to stfu when they are trying to control you. Just because someone publicaly creates content and shares their views online does not give anyone the right to make demands and if they are upset over it that says a lot more about them than the creator.
Having a good balance of listening to chat and having your own opinions or how you wanna do things would be good everybody in life makes mistakes we shouldn’t hold it over your head forever looking forward to your content in the future on this game (or any game) stay positive my brotha u got this 🫡

We were all there the day you posted the WW stuff. We were all excited, and you had a chance, and you took it. If the person didn't explicitly say not to post the information, they should have told you straight up. Wth were they thinking giving a scoop to someone who shares game information for a living. It sounds like a setup lmao. Also i dont mean to be weird and you said you respect Rexlent and stuff, but he has a history of causing drama with other CCs, and has a much larger community to always be behind him. It was always weird to me that the more you got put down and even targeted by Kuro themselves, the more he got involved and even invited to official livestreams and such with the inner workings of their company. Not saying there is a connection, but it always felt off. I like his content, and i think he has a place in the community. He has a good way to easily explain how core passives work and such. And this probably isnt the place to bring it up. But having made a lot of mistakes in my life, i could never be a CC ffs. I am 7 years sober off of heroin and it is a upwards struggle. Always saying the wrong shit, and having to apologize afterwards. Just keep to myself because all the homies are dead or gone, and those who have forgiven me are still in my life, though, it is a very small number of people. But i made my amends, and some people just couldn't ever grasp that I'm a different person now than i was 10 years ago, and i just have to accept that and move on. You enjoy what you do, and that is all that matters.

Do never say you dont care while you're out there making whole videos like this. I'm always here to support CCs who are in the same circle as me even tho I can't watch most of their livestreams because of timezones... but I know that in this situation you need a clear view from someone outside YOUR comfy zone which are ur followers leaving wholesome comments while you need honest and humble opnions to make things better.
-try to avoid the game vs game titles. Ppl want easy info to get into ur videos otherwise you get too many brainless users thinking that u're rly talking shit at certain game
-adopt the ignore tactics when ppl start trashtalking at you for no apparent reason. haters will always hate no matter how good ur content is when it comes to covering games news
-stop giving them the pedestal while ppl who love you barely never gets love back on ur social medias. I see a lot of posts highlighting haters behaviors but barely no community positivity

I don't like guides, so I don't watch them, only after I hit a wall and get the feeling I get nowhere and when I look up guides. Almost like you, but you have the community to help you. You can take the advice but you don't have to and that's okay in my eyes. Games are supposed to be fun, so play the games like you have thus far and how you want to play them.
Establishing an understanding with your viewers is paramount; also banning the ones that don't abide. Obviously they are not forced to watch the stream, so the ones who stick around should ideally be people that appreciate his approach to the game or his personality. And unfortunately trolls.
There is some enjoyment from playing a game without knowing meta and struggling. This seems as something foreign to the content you can find on PGR. Unsurprisingly their is power creep in the game. Possibly since PGR has some modes that encourage a competitive nature, meta is all that is talked about.
Another creator ConnorsThoughts made a video earlier this year addressing elitism in the PGR community. He encouraged fans of the game and creators to consider the new player experience where players are strongly criticized for playing off meta. Mainly to cultivate a welcoming experience.
Generally I didn't want to have the same teams as everyone else; for me that becomes boring fast. After questioning some veterans of the game about the viability of non-meta, I've distilled a few things:
You can still clear a majority (if not all) of the game and modes with any characters. They will probably have to loosely follow a team paradigm that includes atleast a DPS and support. Just don't expect the fastest clears or to rank very high in leaderboard modes.
Timers are probably the worst kryptonite to an unoptimized team, but skill can get you though anything. I didn't fully partake in all modes. If there is a mode that cuts off progression due to a timer or dps-check, they would probably ential building meta if you want to complete it. My experience being a newer player is that I could eventually finish anything I tried by working on skill and upgrading characters. When looking into the games units, you will only find information about the current meta a majority of the time.

I’m glad you stopped caring about what people have said about you. It seems you don’t have many people in the community to fall back on, and i’ve been in the exact same situation before so I know how much that sucks. Communities are always very cliquey and reserved and only value a chosen few, and that’s even more the case in the gacha space. I know first hand what it’s like to get frustrated with ignorant behavior, and people attack your character for it. Just know a bad person doesn't care about being good.

It was an obvious leaking situation and I saw how I benefit more than what the consequences were. I don't even remember thinking it was a leak, I was just excited to share. Now I know better and that's all that matters.
I understand you didn't mean anything by it, but it's probably best to not mention Genshin and WuWa in the same context. At least on Twitter, there's a lot of animosity between the 2 communities. I will always favour a Honkai game over any gacha except Azur Lane, so I don't want to constantly hear about how great this other game from another company is. Chances are I've already played the said game and have learnt in what ways it's better, but it's not gonna take the place of what I really like, so for me, any discourse, any jab, any joke etc is a waste of time that does nothing but irritate me. I ignore 99% of these things, but I see a lot of people that don't, so I don't think it's worth antagonising them, whether intentional or not.

I truly don’t understand why Rexlent consistently stepped in to make sure Chaotik didn’t get back up in this type of situation. I like watching the both of y’all but the way Rexlent (A bigger player/youtuber) handled things was just very biased and opinionated rather than giving the benefit of the doubt and engaging in talks before being so opinionated.

its not completely unjustified, chaotik himself admits that while the community started it he also takes a part in it (wether it is his frustration doing the talking or that he is just not that good with elaborating his point), a small mistake is still a mistake and at the end of the day you should also be able to accept it as such, i think its good that he can admit such a thing since it clearly shows how he changed since then even just by looking at his vids and the talking points inside it, while from what i see on the screen his change is only a baby step at best it is a respectable step IMO ( who knows if he actually had changed for the better a whole lot behind the screen as well which is impressive if he actually did).
