I know right... when someone does the thing now that they call, Sampling, take a older song and blend it into a new song, when I reconize parts of the old song... I have to ask my daughter or my nephew okay who is this artist because, that's MC Hammer, or Prince, or Marvin Gaye, Roberta Flack, or Mahaila Jackson's song, and they will say that they are sampling the music, (bought the rights or got permission to do that). Back in the day the Artist had so much talent they wrote the music, sang it, played several instruments and could dance or choreograph🙂
Thank you Steve for showing this in utube. Showing these kids what they missed out on and where everything they wear, hear and dance to originally started.
God bless ya Steve! You got to live through some of the best times for music and dance. It was so beautiful and lovely and something magical that still lives on for old and new generations. My kids love to listen to this in the car for good times while we drive, so clean and pure. Today’s modern music on the other hand well, “not so much” is a serious understatement.
People were very slim and fit back in the 70’s and 80’s. I am from Brazil and every time I see family pics taken at the beach back then, I am shocked how peeps were so hot. Like everybody has a killer body. The life style and food quality were better for everyone ;)
One of my favorite Isley Brothers songs and underrated! Wish I was around in the 70's... A different time, people getting together dancing having a good time!
I love my 60's n 70's era we had great dance moves great food good times at the house party. I was really impressed with how the guy from my era really dance their assessment off, excuse my French!
